I was originally very critical of these but as it turns out they work well after being used for a while...some glitches like pressing up all the way causes the cursor on GE64 to go the opposite way but it turns so hard in fps mode it blows original n64 controllers out of the water...the opposite way glitch seems to only happen at the menu screens and doesn't kill gameplay. ... show more

They work well enough and the colors are gorgeous! But the sensitivity/response is not the absolute greatest. I can't decide if it's too sensitive or not enough. All I know is it's near impossible to find the sweet spot for tip toeing in banjo tooie. Can find it going one directing but the second I have to veer a different direction, I'm going a smidge too fast and can't achieve what I need to achieve. Also sort of noticable at higher speeds. May be more like it sticks to a grid instead of being able to move in increments/angles within that grid? Also have trouble getting the Z button to initiate on first/lighter press. Sometimes requires you to press more firmly. Definitely not as good as the OG controllers but games are still very playable. ... show more

I bought these controllers specifically because the images and description showed an octagonal arrangement for the the joystick, but this clearly only has six corners (see image). If you're trying to move straight left of right it's impossible because there is no corner for the joystick to rest in. Will be returning these. Additionally, you have to hold the Z button down very hard for it to continue registering as pressed, which is super annoying and in some cases game breaking. ... show more

Ordered 4 controllers. We used them a few days and they respond well and have not experienced the joystick drift or slop issues. Fine movement is difficult but I can't remember what original joysticks responded like when new so it might be comparable. The cord is a little shorter than original N64 controllers so that may effect gaming experience. ... show more
