    • Decent cheap kitchen towels

I bought these for use in my home kitchen because they were well-reviewed and inexpensive. I like to have towels which I can use when cooking to wipe cutting boards, counters, hands, whatever and not worry about stains or taking care of nice/expensive kitchen towels. Just use a couple of towels when making a meal and throw them in the laundry. If they look too bad after however many uses I can just toss them and not worry feel bad as they only cost about a buck and a quarter a piece with the Amazon coupon. These aren't towels to keep hanging in you kitchen as decorative, keep them in a drawer and use them when cooking. They do get stains which do not come out in the wash and they are not particularly absorbant but I prefer them to going thru a whole bunch of paper towels. ... show more

I use these as general kitchen cloths instead of paper towels. They are easy to clean (hot water, detergent and some washing soda), I hang them on the clothes line to dry. They dry quickly and are sturdy. I never buy paper towels, EVER.

I thought these were what they said in the description at first. Then in about 3 months, they began to come apart at the seams and leaving loose strings. Lint is left on the dishes when drying with them. Where's the cloth that grandma used to do dishes with?
