It works and was surprisingly sturdy. It doesn’t really fit Pinot bottles well but you can make them fit. Not sure how confident I would be loading this thing up with 96 bottles. If the vertical pieces were 1/4” thicker and 1/4” taller it would be ideal.

    • Only standard wine bottles will fit. No fat bottom bottles will fit in this rack.

One of the shelves had a broken piece during shipping. I had to glue it back together. Once setup it seems to be sturdy. Larger format bottles (i.e. Pinot) will not fit.

    • Weak Base - The entire rack FALLS!

The rack is nice looking and the wood is cut and sanded very well. However, the base has No strength. A simple push to the side and the drops quickly and easily. The rack broke easily when loaded with 96 empty bottles. After reinforcing the base with a 4x4 cut to fit the rails, the base is now sturdy. Don't buy unless you have wood skillzzz... ... show more

This was so easy to put together and my wine bottles all fit on there very well. Was able to stack two of these racks. I did attach them to the wall with some brackets that we bought to make sure they wouldn't fall over, but they do stand very stable.
