I was a bit worried when I saw some reviewers had issue with install. No worries, it just is as simple as screwing the bar the other direction if it is not tightening down as expected. I think most will find that helpful. Overall I am totally satisfied on the quality and the versatility of being able to add more extension bars if you change the location. I am keeping the extra in the original box and keeping it for if we need it elsewhere. We live full time in our RV so we can always put it to use in another space. I can't tell you how many times I have been disappointed in other products due to poor quality. This is a keeper. No need to buy another! I would buy again. I never installed one of these before but installation was easy and straight forward. It came in 3 pieces but I didn't need the 3rd piece. 2 pieces were long enough for my bath tub shower. It literally took only a minute or two to assemble and install. I think it will hold. The bar itself feels a little flimsy but it's not like I'm hanging anything heavy on it. It does not hold tension and the rod keeps falling down. I tightened everything and now it just fall apart. The plastic part that is supposed to hold the tension pushed inside of it. I didn’t buy it that long ago and I don’t have the option to return it.

This shower rod looks great and does the job, but it is not sturdy. I can tell the suction is not strong and we worry that it is going to fall down with the slightest tug on the shower curtain. We’ve made it as tight as it can go too. For the price though, it’s ok, I just wish that it felt sturdier. I like that it is adjustable and is easy to install without screws or tools. ... show more
