Good value for money. 2 notes: 1. you have to assemble all the parts yourself and really tighten the screws so the mirror doesn't move during ride. 2. if you require changing mirror position for storage, I estimate the screws will need to be tightened every now and then.

I needed a rear view mirror and this on seemed to be the perfect one for me It gives a very expansive view and is easily adjustable. I do have an issue with keeping it in one place. Not sure whether I'm hitting it while riding or bumps in the road are shifting it. My husband has the same one and does not have the issue. ... show more

    • Great Mirror if you like looking at the ground.
Bought this for my flat bar road bike. I really, really like the shape of this mirror, and for a when it stayed in the proper position, it was great! Better than my mirror on my drop handle road bike. Most times I had to adjust and fiddle with as I road, but it mostly would hold enough so I could see cars coming up behind. Unfortunately now, it just swings on the pivot point that does not have any type of screw to tighten. I will probably use electric tape to hold it, or contribute to the landfill.     • I can see clearly now...
This is a pretty useful mirror. I tried helmet mirrors, but jus couldn't get the hang of it. The mirror mounts to the handlebar ends. I have fitted one to a mountain and a road bike. This was my second one and it was intended for a road bike. The bracket on this one was a bit cumbersome, but I was able to reconfigure it the way I wanted it using existing bar end parts. My only complaint is that it won't stay put when I'm riding at higher speed. I'm sure I can come up with a modification to make it work, but it is really only slightly inconvenient and why I only took off one star. The mirror tucks out of the way when the bike is stored. I agree with others that the linkages at a bit too loose. Installing it as is, I had to adjust it about 5 times on my 9 mile trek into work. I put a thin rubber O-ring under the screw to increase the pressure on universal joint and that worked satisfactorily. A small washer would also work just fine, but I wanted something compressible. You don't want it to be too rigid either. It needs to be able to move if you bump it. I can get to work and back now without having to touch it. Ideally, you ought to be able to install it as is. I like the oblong shape of this mirror. The elongated bottom give a wide view of the road behind you and provides a nice perspective. ... show more

    • Tough install and hard to see behind you
First off the installation of this was not complicated, but it was a pain. The design is a split end with a cone shaped piece that is drawn in with a screw which makes the split end expand. You have to keep pressure on the screw to keep the cone from sliding up and expanding the split end while inserting it inside the hadlebar. Also the cone is almost the same size as the inside of my handlebar which made it even harder. The second thing is the mirror is small and the position of it is sometimes blocked by my arm since it's right in line with the hadndlebar, this will vary with different style handlebars. I bought a similar mirror for my wife's bike, it has a L-shaped stem that moves the mirror out and up out so your arm doesn't block it. It's a bulkier design than this one, but it's easier to see out of. I guess this model is like a sports car, it looks good, but the windows are small and cause blind spots. ... show more

This mirror is great for seeing what's coming up from the rear. I like its location on end of handlebars. works well wile riding the Wight line in traffic. Instillation was fine. I did have to cut the end of of my grip but expected to have to do so. My only grip is the mirror does not stay put. it moves out of preferable viewing rang at every slight bump. I am not talking about going over logs, I mean going over a seam in a side walk that a blind man would not notice will move the mirror a little out of whack. by the time you ride 3 blocks you must re adjust the mirror. I do have a solution for this problem. When I locate the right small rubber band I can put it between the two parts where movement is too liberal and the rubber band should create enough friction to solve my problem. ... show more
