These are straight up the best ballpoint pens I've ever used. I've been using them for 2 years at this point after first seeing them used by a calligrapher on YouTube. I finally decided to review them, lol. The pen is strikingly smooth and consistent and produces a rich, jet-black line. I'm an amateur linguist and calligrapher (and maybe a little bit of a hypergraph) and writing is one of my biggest joys in life - this thing cuts it for literally every language I write in. English (Latin), Chinese characters, Hiragana, Katakana, Hangul, Greek, Cyrillic, Armenian, it all looks fantastic with this pen. I use this pen exclusively for Chinese homework too (switched to Pilot G2s at one point after I ran out of them and it was much worse of an experience). One thing to note is that these things run out pretty fast in comparison to other pens, but it's not unacceptably fast, and these things aren't priced that high either. ... show more

Only problem has been the normal buildup of ink at the tip. Once in a while you have to wipe it off. That seems to be a problem on most pins. Otherwise, I am happy with them. I use them for Kanji practice.

These are very nice writing pens. They're nice/easy to hold and write very well. The ink may take a moment to dry, depending on the surface you're writing on.

I used Pilot G2 Ballpoint back in school and thought those were nice but these take writing to another level. I use it for Kanji, Japanese and everyday situations and would definitely buy again.
