I know right? It’s not a cat toy, it is a fishing pole, for a small kid, but it makes a great cat toy too. Especially because it came with a toy fish that is perfect for learning how to tie on hooks and lures and practicing your casting. I love it. And the cat loves it. Sure you could use one of those cats toy that is like a little stick with something dangling from it but with this little fishing rod you can relax and just practice your casting from the comfort of the couch while you watch Netflix (or should I say Prime). I mean, it’s ultimate entertainment. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for lightweight because I was a bit surprised by the heft of it but I am 63 and starting to feel some arthritis in my hands. Value for money hands down is an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I love catfishing and so does my cat. And I gave it just ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for durability because I’m sure if I sit on it I will break it. My Great grandson couldn’t wait to try out his new fishing pole. Now. for most folks the toilet would be an odd, not to mention, an unpromising place to cast one’s line. But, for an eager three year old angler, I’d say it’s pretty darn clever. Anyway, the joy this beautiful pint sized fishing pole has already brought to my Great grandson has well rewarded me for my modest investment. One of these days, I hope to be around to get him something more sophisticated. But, for now, I think the simplicity and size of this beautiful little rod and reel is suited to his age, and may be a gift—his very first fishing pole from his Great grandpa—that he will never forget. ... show more

Honestly it's unbelievable how cheap this is and how well it works. I'll be honest I didn't really get to use it much because my children were pretty crazy when we went fishing. I confess - I actually bought this to play with my kitties. Fun for them and fun for me. And I can stay on my couch haha. This gets heavy use, especially when my kitty catches the toy at the end and I'm pulling. This certainly will be perfect for a youngster to go fishing. Durable, and tough!
