I have this on my 12' v-hull fishing boat and the quality of the fabric is very good and it fit on by boat like a glove. It has elastic cords sewn in around the edges so it conforms nicely to the boat giving a nice tight fit. It comes with a bunch of straps that can be attached however you want, I decided to attach two of them together and run them under the boat rather than attaching them to the frame of the trailer because I find that is easier to get the cover on and off. And it has straps that run over the top to keep in secure. The only think I don't love is the metal buckles, they don't hold as tight as I would like and I'm concerned that they will rub holes in the cover over time and might rust, and I prefer the convenience of the more standard plastic webbing strap buckles, but that is more of a personal preference thing. ... show more

I am not using this to cover a Jon boat. I am using it to cover my 14.5-foot raft. My previous cover ripped, so I thought I would try a different boat shape design for a cover. This boat covered is heavy duty. LOTS of straps and ways to make a snug fit. I put the cover over our 16ft V Lund fishing boat. The cover took a bit of adjusting to make a good fit as it is obviously a universal cover but once I figured out how I wanted it, it works great.

I am really impressed with this boat cover. It covers our boat well, even with the motor still on. The material is thick and repels water well. It has an elastic band around the edging that holds it snug just under the lip. The strapping system is a standard system. The seams on the strap are triple stitched, which is fantastic. I also like that there are three straps that go across the boat for transport. It came well packaged and has a mesh storage bag for when it is not in use. I am able use this for our jon boat as well. This is a good quality boat cover; sturdy material and stitched well. It has been on for two weeks on a 12foot aluminum boat. I did not have to find straps to hold this down because it came with extra straps. The bungee sewn in help keep it tight. I like that I can keep the cover on while towing. This was put on my G3 1448 and you can see by the picture, you probably cannot go any longer or any wider. I just barely had room to put a water shedding riser on the center seat. There is a bag of straps included. They are not all the same. Two do not have a sewn loop on the end and the contrast stitch lines should be slightly different. Those two go over the boat. The rest all have a loop and you just pass the running end around the trailer, into the loop, and then use the buckles. I don't expect the buckles to be rustproof and they do require a hitch to keep them from getting loose, but the fabric, especially if you are not trailering with this cover, makes up for that. ... show more

Material is very waterproof and seems durable. Metal buckles for adjustment are pretty nice bit I'm not sure why there isn't a top strap for every side strap. Good but I don't think it fits my boat good enough to trust it on the highway. 12" Jon boat and its a little too long. I ordered the longer version so it would fit over my outboard motor, but I wish I had gotten one size smaller. ... show more
