Great size but not wonderful if you are traveling with your cat.. the top of the carrier constantly falls in.. it doesn't keep its shape while the pet is in the carrier but other than that it's very durable and lightweight.. and I do like all of the different openings and the different ways that you can put the strap on it.. I just wish there was some way for it to stay up when your pet is in it so it's not caving in on them ... show more

This is good value for the price point. It is soft sided so can fold in on itself towards the top but it does have structure and not on top of pet. I have a 1.5lb kitten. she fit just fine of course. One end zips all the way open in an arch - the other end zips open in an arch only at the top so your pet can stick their head out. I read reviews about the bottom not being sturdy but mine came with a stiff wrapped backer / bottom board. Did not sag at all. Also has a long shoulder strap with option of where to connect depending on how you want to carry it. Kitten found it safe feeling and didn't complain. In fact it was on the exam table at the vet and she returned to it on her own accord. ... show more

I got this for transporting my 2 dachshund puppies. Works great. I just added a soft, fuzzy blanket for them to lay on for a bit of comfy for their trip in the car to the vet. Together, they come in under the 12-pound weight limit, so there is no bowing of the bag, nice and sturdy. Totally opens on one end, while the other is just a partial opening. The zippers seem sturdy but I discourage the normal chewing puppies love doing as they are plastic. There are two different length strap options, so go with what works best. I love this carrier I thought it would be perfect for my cat baby. I put her in the car to take her to the vet to board her and when I got in the car to take her and my dog to the vet to be boarded my dog, was literally sitting on top of the cat in her soft carrier And would not move. I had to pull her out from under him and he’s a lab then when we got to the vet because they were going to two different places because they didn’t have room at the one place for both of them. He saw a dog in the car next-door and he started jumping up and down on the seat at the other end, where I move the cat and he was jumping up and down on her soft carrier so I thought to myself of course this would happen because I contemplated whether or not I wanted a soft carrier or a hard carrier , so if you have a dog get a hard carrier, if you don’t a soft carrier would be fine. I don’t know which would protect them better in an accident or something like that. You would think a hard one would but I’m not sure it for what it’s worth. I will probably end up getting a hard carrier , but this one is really cute. ... show more
