My little man is picky about cups/bottles. I wanted to get him something more leak proof, cause we all know "leak proof" isn't always as advertised when you have a toddler throwing it everywhere. SO far he took good to the straw, other straw cups has too hard of a suction and he couldn't figure it out. This one is easy, leak roof, and throw proof so far! Only time it spilled, was when he held it upside down and pinched the straw to make a mess lol! UPDATE PLEASE READ: Okay here is my update after a few weeks of use. First of all, we had to modify it, my son couldn't figure out how to drink it normal, he kept tipping it back like a regular cup, causing liquid to avoid the straw at the bottom of the cup, which made him frustrated. The plastic piece inside the cup attached to the rubber part of the straw comes right off easy, and does not affect the cup functionality! I have afew people who watch my son during the week, and they have all complained about the cups. The cup doesn't bother me much, but the complaints are the following: - He is able to bite down on the straw and pull it out the cup, causing a spill. - If tipped upside down, with pressure on the straw it will leak out. -When it does leak, it's not a small amount, so it does make a mess. - I do wish it was insulated because it does not keep milk good long in it. I'd keep it as a juice cup. These are complaints I've heard, but also some irritating things I agree with, but having a toddler, every cup is going to leak. I will say all my son has to do is shake it and it leaks from the top of the straw, the way the straw is designed, it does hold liquid in it. Also y kid is rough with everything, so maybe this experience is because of that? I still use them, but I wouldn't buy anymore personally. ... show more

So far, we love this cup. I was looking for something that doesn't leak and this has been great. You might get a couple drops if they chuck it pretty hard, but that's gonna happen with any cup. It's thick and sturdy, should hold up well. A BIG selling point is the ease of cleaning. It all comes apart for easy clean. Make sure you have a straw cleaner. I use it for both of the straw pieces. I am trying to transition my 18 month old from a sippy cup and these work great. I read a few other reviews that said they leak, but I have not had that problem. If you but a liquid that will build up pressure it will come out the top but water and milk do not leak - my daughter has thrown it on the floor and no leaks and the cups have not cracked. ... show more

They find these easy to handle. They are at the age where they like to drop things and they have not leaked or broken yet so that's good. The straw seems durable given they like to bite it sometimes. I've been hand washing because 1. I feel it's safer not to expose the soft parts to heat. 2. Nice quality, no leaks, easy to assemble and take apart for washing. Only thing is liquid sits at the very top of the straw maybe a drop or 2. The designs are cute and haven’t come off in the dishwasher.

This is a really great, durable cup. Not 100% leak proof, but my toddler really enjoys it. The only complaint I have is that the outer design peels off after awhile, so these two cups I have now are blank due to the designs wearing off. I mean, I didn’t buy it for the deisgn but for the price I would’ve thought it’d still be there after months of using them. I do recommend though if your toddler needs a good straw cup that’s easy to clean and can take some toddler javelin throwing ! ... show more
