This ZAFUL mens woolen shirt jacket is a nice combo of a thicker shirt and a thinner jacket. My husband doesn't like thick jackets that overheat or make him feel heavy. He says this jacket is absolutely perfect, and the only critique is that the material is a little stiff and scratchy, though we wonder if that will soften over time. This is a quality shirt jacket - great material, nice design, and a good shirt to wear around during mildly chilly temperatures. This would be part of my regular rotation, but I found the sizing to be REALLY big. I am 5'9, 215lbs and wear an XL or 2XL in almost every shirt I have - sadly more 2XL. So, I thought I'd get an XL and lose a few pounds. The shirt is huge. Even though it's marked as an XL, it feels more like a 3XL at least. So, just take size into consideration when purchasing. This shirt jacket thing is really well made and looks really good on my husband. It fit as expected and he likes it. It's not as soft as it looks in the pictures, but that's not a big deal. Just something to be aware of. (It's not super scratchy, though.)

I can appreciate that someone may like this but it’s not for me. The material is thick and warm but it’s scratchy and uncomfortable. It feels unfinished almost like something homemade.     • Not as soft as I'd hoped, but still nice

I got this shirt to use around the house (indoors) in the fall and winter, and outdoors primarily in the fall. The fabric is nice, and seems like good quality. The fit is a little oversized, at least for me. The buttons all work fine. I got the black and white checked color, so it pairs well with just about anything. I washed and dried it right away, because that's always a good test in my opinion. The shirt did shrink just slightly, but that was fine because, as mentioned, it was a little oversized to start with. Two minor negatives in my view. The fabric is soft enough, but not as soft as I like. It's noticeable on the inside, which feels just the slightest bit "scratchy". The other thing is that it only has one chest pocket - would be nice if it had two. But quite honestly, these are minor things and all in all I definitely like the shirt. ... show more

I got this in blue, and it looks fantastic with faded jeans. The outside of the fabric is nice and soft--almost like a woolen blanket. The inside is a tad scratchy, and I would not wear it without something underneath, but it's a jacket, after all, so that's not exactly an unrealistic requirement. That said, it's well made, fits as expected (it's roomy enough for layering), and feels like a quality garment. The blue-and-white plaid is what sold me on this, and I like it even better in person. This Zaful shirt jacket seems well-constructed and solid. It's soft and warm. The sizing seems on point and the cut is fine. There's room for underlayers. I normally don't wear plaid or lighter colors, but this is a nice change of pace. This will make for fine fall outerwear. All in all, I'm happy with this insulated "shirt jacket".
