It takes a minute to get going, and it's pretty slow, but if you're patient and attentive, you'll get your ice! I didn't notice much difference between the bigger bullets vs. the smaller ones, but it works like a champ and I love it!

While it does make nice looking ice initially, for some reason before you can actually get to it, it cycles all of the water through the reservoir again and if it's more than half way full it will release the ice into the little basket which is now submerged, where it will sit for a few seconds as the freezing tray fills back up. This causes it to melt a little bit. Once the reservoir is at about half it doesn't fill up enough to submerge the basket, so I think next time I will only fill it that full. The storage area is insulated like an igloo cooler kind of, it's not refrigerated and that's probably on me for not realizing but I've never owned an ice maker before so maybe some of my disappointment with this product is caused by that. On the positive side this thing is very quiet and a nice size. It is small enough to probably fit on the counter in the RV which could come in handy. It does make a batch of ice every 9 minutes as it claims. It requires babysitting if you are trying to make a stockpile of ice for your freezer because the basket is pretty small. If you are making a stockpile I suggest using a big bag to store it all in so that you can break it up as it will stick together in the freezer But ultimately I would tell most people looking to get one to save their money and splurge on a better one because this leaves a lot to be desired. If you have a small hotel style fridge with no room for ice trays this is great and again I do see this being very useful for RV trips. ... show more

Bought this due to not having a ice maker I had it set on the counter top the ice machine is pretty loud it does make ice quickly but melts very fast its not useful for a multiple people unless you wait a long time it’s more of a single use and then wait longer for another scoop of ice lathered better else where I will be returning Update after reviewing this honestly they reached out to me offering me a full refund I was actually surprised and accepted either was I was still returning it the seller started brushing off the offer and then started asking a bunch of questions after answering them explaining the ice has a smell it stops making ice even if the field half way ect camille asked me to send pictures I did then she asks me to confirm the payment return I said the one I have on file and then she said she joes her customer service gives me a better attitude when I never had one in the first place . This is the most disrespectful person I have ever come across on Amazon go spend your money somewhere else she’s clearly ripping people off and feels it’s acceptable to disrespect someone who returns her poorly made ice maker.. do better ... show more
