This product works great. Easy to apply and the results are very good. The price was what interested me most. A little goes a long way. Not sure where the smell of blue paint comes from, but it has a subtle and tolerable scent to it. I definitely recommend it.

Happy to find a tung/carnauba/beeswax blend! Works well so far; I found it applied well using just gloved hands, and a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, mine seemed to have a small leak on arrival with solidified product sticking the lid to the pot, so I had to pry off the lid with some damage to the container. It's quite soft and acts more like an oil, so I'm planning on using it primarily as a first or second layer finish on my projects. Would absolutely love a thicker formula that uses more wax for really developing a protective wax layer. ... show more

I initially bought this to use on my mom’s front doors, which had become weathered and dull. And, it did not disappoint (see the before and after pics)! It brought out the original color, brightness and shine of the doors! This wax is amazingly versatile, you can use it on pretty much anything made of wood, and little goes a long way. I was disappointed to find the wax had dried to an unusable clump when I decided to use it on a homemade cedar bench. But, I had opened the wax ≈1.5 years ago when I discovered it had dried, so I can’t really complain, especially considering it’s now about half the price it was when I originally purchased it. I’d just recommend sealing it in an airtight bag (preferably a vacuum sealed bag) if you plan on storing it awhile. I was also happy to see some alternate scents available… Last time, I had the Tung Aroma, which was lovely, and I highly recommend. However, this time I’m going with the Cedar/Lemongrass because I’m using it on a cedar bench. ... show more

Best wood polish ever! I just received a new untreated Walnut chair! Beautiful chair! The Polish that came with it was a toxic bottle poison though. I didn’t like the ingredients I saw in many of the products at the local hardware store, so I started doing my homework on oils and wax’s for treating and maintaining beatiful ‘non toxic’ wood. This chair has wooden arm rests, I didn’t want off gassing and toxic chemicals leaching into my arms while enjoying my lovely chair. I finally found Z’s Wood Nectar after heeps of research and it was a match made in Heaven!! The pics I posted are post poli Best wood polish ever! I just received a new untreated Walnut chair! I bought this wood wax in both the citrus scent and the lemongrass scent. I was looking forward to usisng it on many projects. the smell was great. consistency looked good. But before I could use it, within the first 2 months, both tins had turned and were rancid. I kept it closed, in a cool, dark place. So very disappointed. I would have contacted the seller directly, but Amazon makes it so hard if not impossible. Please contact me. I would like to either get a replacement or a refund. ... show more

    • Awesome dull or new wood enhancement
Scent: Cedarwood Lemongrass
Cedarwood and lemongrass perfect aroma not too strong and like essential oils do, it fades, so mostly for my enjoyment while applying/working. Weeks later still smells like real beeswax. Oil instantly and noticeably seeps deep under the surface adding luster, a light sheen and a coating of beeswax. I hope 'Z' likes making this as much as I like using it. I enjoy seeing before and after of the dry woods soaking it in and taking on a mildly aged Amber tone. Not greasy or sticky, wipes off hands with dry napkin. A little over a month ago I used 1 can to weatherproof an entire new Cypress beehive exterior; solid bottom board, 2 deeps, 3 mediums, 2 Miller feeders, 2 slatted racks, 2 robber screens, inner and top covers. I also did my older dry Ironwood walking stick, 10/22 Walnut stock, and a large 27x20 inch Maple cutting board. Still have some left but ordered 2 more to do a natural finish floor to ceiling Douglas Fir bookshelf. Each item and type of wood is now noticeably more protected, water repellent and more beautiful than before. Thanks Z ... show more

Scent: Tung Aroma
I used this product for several cutting boards I had built. I did not like the thick dried up leathery layer on the surface. The only thing to do with that is to scrape it off at the beginning - it will not re-dissolve. The seller should have placed a thin layer of plastic directly on the surface of the wax to keep this form happening. My cutting boards are end grain, very smooth, and already had a coat of pure Tung oil a week earlier. I used this as a final finish. This would not buff to a shine. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I don't know what... I would not purchase this brand again. ... show more
