Features

  • Tazer RAM Features Vehicle settings are changes made to the vehicle such as tire size, gear ratios or settings which accommodate other upgrades. Live Settings are selectable options that the Tazer performs live, only while it is physically connected. Non-Menu Live Functions are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination.
  • Various Settings Light show, display DTCs, clear CELs, enable and/or disable various options. See user guide for full list of settings and functions.
  • Easy Installation Installation is a matter of simply plugging the Tazer Ram into the OBD2 diagnostic port under the dashboard. Vehicles 2018 and newer require an additional OBDII T-Harness Bypass.
  • Vehicle Compatibility Fits 2013-2021 Ram 1500 Classic, 2500 and 3500.
  • Important Notes The OBDII T-Harness Bypass (not included) is required when installing the Tazer Ram in 2018 Ram 1500, 2019-2021 Ram 1500 Classic / 2500 / 3500. Not compatible with the Ram 1500 DT or TRX. Requires instrument cluster with color screen. Will not work on black and white dashboard screens. The tire PSI setting requires a trip to the dealer so the vehicle can recognize the change. Disabling the TPMS system altogether and turning off the warning symbol does NOT require the dealer.

Had one on my Jeep and ordering one for the Ram. Very clear on the website that certain model years need additional parts (bypass harness). Just read and you'll be fine. Best calibrator out there and bang for the buck with the features you can tap into.

For basic preferences it's pretty nice. If you need to initialize something like key fobs or abs it's not going to help. There is other much cheeper options even after having to buy an android tablet and a usb dongle. When I unmarried it it broke my tire pressure monitoring system.
