This product really is amazing. I've been in the market for professional grade mats to use for yoga and combatives training. I wanted to replace the cheaper puzzle tiles I currently have. With all products I do a good bit of research before any purchase. After reading some online reviews I was a bit skeptical of the product condition once I recieved them (loose stitching, cuts in material, etc) I was pleasantly surprised that there were no defects anywhere to be seen. Once each of the mats arrived I went over them with a fine tooth and comb. All the stitching was intact and no cuts in the material. Areas that will see a lot of wear from use have been reinforced with double stitching. The mat is firm enough for what I'm using them for and the dont give to much. Some mats you buy of this type feel like your sinking into a mattress or spring loading on a trampoline. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a professional style mat for either combatives, yoga, or gymnastics. A nice touch to the packaging was a thank you note with a little information about the company. They are a family based business based out of a town not to far from where I am. A+++++ ... show more

I have never purchased a home gymnastics mat before and wanted something for my 9 year old son to continue working on his tumbling skills at home before returning to the gym after the pandemic. Wanted something sturdy enough for a big kind; he is not a preschooler and those little soft baby mats would not be adequate but I did not want to overpay. The reviews looked convincing and I took a chance. Terrific mat - long enough for him to work on round off or eventually RBH and firm enough to do handstand practice but cushy enough to support a fall. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

I received two of these mats , to build my home gym during this 'at home' time. The products were in stock, shipped quickly, and seem durable. However, one of the mats was sent with a rip in the corner where it folds. This rip, in this spot will most likely expand. It is important to note that the packaging was intact and not damaged. My daughter is spending more time practicing gymnastics these days. We don't have a lot of room, but we did purchase the largest size mat available. Thickness = awesome. It was more expensive than I wanted to spend, but since she uses it daily - seems worth the spend. Looks durable, and time will tell. We use this mat as a workout surface in our exercise room. Ploymetrics, weights, push-ups and yoga...it's seen heavy and constant use for nearly 5 years. No signs of any wear, still comfortable and still doing it's job after all this time. If it ever wears out, then I'll buy another. Highly recommend. ... show more

Appears to be thick, firm and durable. Velcro seems fine. So far these seem great. Obviously I cannot speak of durability on day one, but I see nothing that appears to be sub par. Will buy again, unless something out of the ordinary happens.

    • Odor is health hazard
I usually don't write reviews, however I hope to warn others who may be interested in these mats. The mats are great... very thick and sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. THE SMELL however when I opened the package was unbearable. There is a toxic vinyl/chemical odor coming from the mats that causes eye burning, nose and throat burning. I have had to put the mats outside in hopes that the odor dissipates - so they won't be able to be used until the smell goes away ... show more
