This was the first carpet tape I purchased and I am very satisfied with it! I needed more and chose a different brand that was offering more for less and boy was I disappointed! When they advertise that this adhesive is the strongest on the market I truly do believe them! I ripped the seam of an area rug trying to get it off of the floor it was that stuck! And it didn't leave any residue on the floor either. Furthermore, I have a VERY strong vacuum and this tape keeps my area rugs and door mats glued to the floor even when vacuuming the corners. I used this to hang some signs and whatnot on my wall and upon removal this tape took the paint with it so I only recommend using it on floors! Needless to say when that other tape failed instantaneously and I finished yelling expletives in numerous languages, I took that brand new 2 inch by 40 yard roll and threw it in the trash and placed an order for THIS tape. Look no further, this is the one and only carpet tape you should be buying. Don't believe me? I have a few bare spots on a wall that would love to debate.
