  • Amazing Bits
These are the greatest thing sense sliced bread. I used one today for over an hour shaping a large hole in some very thick hard steel and never fazed the bit. Now I do want to caution people about something with using these on steel, the metal slivers they create are the PERFECT size to prick into you skin and clothes! I started out just holding the work piece in my lap and after a few minutes I realized I had a problem! I shopped vac my clothes, used a razor blade to scrap the slivers out of my hands, then moved the work piece to the floor and held it with a leather high cuff welding glove. GREAT BITS! Just be very careful with the slivers of metal. I liked these so well that I ordered my neighbor a surprised set, they're supposed to arrive some time later today. ... show more

  • Chomped through aluminum intake manifold, no problem.
I went to [Big Box Store] and bought a [Rotary Tool Name Brand] carbide bit for around $10. Got home and it was very, very slow to port out my Subaru Intake Manifold's "TGV" system. Die grinder, Die grinder, Die grinder, says the internet. But I didn't want to invest in the tooling to do it. So, I bought these. I got all my work done very quickly with this. Used a little WD-40 spray on the project here and there to keep the aluminum from clogging up the bits, but otherwise, worked like a charm. Subaru up and running with more horsepower than ever before! ... show more

  • Great burr grinders for rotary tools
These are a great buy for small rotary tools. I have used them on several aluminum projects and some small port matching work on cast iron. They chew through aluminum with minimal vibration and no noticeable wear after probably an hour of use time on several tips. The two tips I used on the cast iron did show some wear after a few minutes, but nothing that slowed or altered the effectiveness of the burr. For the price, if I had to buy another set to complete a second job(port matching a pair of V8 heads) that would be a decent expense. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ... show more

  • Very good for its cheap price, but not great. I’ll probably buy again.
I’ve owned about 1,000,000,000,000 rotary carbide bits in my life(well ok maybe a couple dozen anyway). I’m doing more hobby stuff in my garage with these. They are GREAT FOR THIS! They seem to chip a little easier than I would expect from a name brand cutter. Also the arbor bent ever so slightly on one. But again, for fooling around in your garage vs. price, it’s a great thing to have for some small detail work ... show more

  • cuts steel well
I used this to grind out the edge remnants of a 3/8 grade 8 bolt before retapping to clear the bits and pieces of the old bolt in grey cast iron manifold. Earlier I had drilled out the bolt with a 1/4 Bosch carbide universal drill bit which ate thru the broken bolt easily. These cutters also easily eat thru steel. I then cleaned up a rough and rusted flange for brazing. All the bits survived undamaged. These are much better than stone grinders. They are durable, but cant say how long lived they will be, but I expect will last a long time. I used these in a dremel. I suppose the steel shaft could get bent, but had no problems with that. ... show more

  • Did the trick
I ordered these out of desperation while trying to get the hinge pins out of a GMT400 (99) Suburban. There's not much information on YouTube or Google about it. I tried multiple drill bits and specially made tools to try and get the pins out. Drill bits were semi successful but because of the hardness of the pins the bits got dull quickly and couldn't finish the job. I was rather skeptical because of the country of origin and cheap price but they chewed through the pin like it wasn't there. Only saw minor chipping of some of the burrs and even after snagging a few times these held up and finished the job. ... show more

  • Great for Engraving Stone
Used to engrave the headstone for my bunnies gravesite. These are powerful and work pretty well, just didn't work out as well as I had hoped not due to them but the fact the stone I chose "chipped" in weird ways. While they are tough I do not know about longevity and this probably depends upon the surface that you are using these on. I have to say I thought all the bits worked great except for the ball bit on stone. ... show more

  • Versatile addition to my tool kit
I don't know how durable these burr bits are in the long term, but when you have to do some tidying up and patching on an antique maple floor, as I had to, they were an invaluable addition to my Dremel accessories for cleaning up old gouges and splinters.
