This is a welcome addition to my fishing gear for walking/hiking into shore fishing locations. It's nice, lightweight and compact, but easily folds open. Fits nicely in my backpack. The mesh is "rubberized" and offers better protection for fish when catching and releasing. It comes with a storage bag, which is rather thin and is not the same quality as the net. I don't expect the bag to last long, but the net should work well for quite awhile, as long as it isn't abused. ... show more

At first glance, I thought this fishing net was too light and would not last. But after assembly and trying it in the water, I was mistaken ... its very nice. It folds down, making it easy to carry and store, has flotation, and the net is rubberized. The handle is extendable. The only downside for me personally, is that I usually like a longer handle (this one was perfect for wading, or boating), and I like a finer mesh for catching smaller minnows, and shrimp. But for your average fishing person , I think this is very nice. ... show more

Awesome net! Super compact for travel/packing. Easy to open up and extend. Solid but lightweight. Grippy net with a great shape for better netting. Highly recommend!
