I have done about 100 crimps of stainless over 1/8 wire for fencing. Seems to work well. Much better than the big one. This doesn't distort the fitting when crimping. The price was worth it just to read the directions. I would post them, but it's worth the $$ just to enjoy the chienglish instructions, and then consider you got a realy cool, well made tool for free. ... show more

It’s a little bit difficult to hold the fitting and the line while crimping but you kind of get a rhythm going with it. It does work really well and when crimped, the fittings are NOT coming off!

I bought this product because my larger hand crimper at times did not crimp my connectors hard enough and the wires slipped out. After getting fed up and discovering this, I had to have it. When I used it for my project, I found it a bit cumbersome to hold the press, pump it, and maintain the position of the wire. I crimped it successfully and was pleased at the result. I used this crimper to replace the cables on my gorilla lift. Previously, i would have to buy the whole spring with the cable already attached and it was getting very costly. I would have to buy 4 of these crimpers to equal the price of 1 spring. The inserts do tend to jump out of the track fairly easy so you have to keep an eye out for that. As long as you make sure everything is seated correctly before you bear down on it you'll be good. ... show more
