I really love these bowls! All of my dishware is blue and white, so these fit right in. The depth of the bowl is perfect, it’s a little bit more shallow but because the bowl is so nice and wide, it can still fit a ton of food. In my photo, I used them as pasta bowls, however these could easily act as small serving bowls as well. The bowls are ceramic and are a little bit more lightweight than I would typically like. After eating out of them and cutting inside of them, there was no damage to any of the finish or the design of the bowl. I’ve also washed them in the dishwasher and there’s been no problem. I love/needed bigger Soup Bowls, but these too wide for Soup, they more like Fruit Bowls, lol.. They are great thou' and did'nt realize how much i needed them. Throw in a Steamed Spaghetti Squash, Pile of Shrimp / Crab, Artichoke is Perfect... Great Set, but they are more of a Plate/Bowl Hybrid, then a "Soup Bowl". These bowls are so pretty! Very large and substantial bowls too. They work great for everyday use and large enough to act as serving bowls as well. The design is classy and elegant. I did notice on my set that there were a few small smears/runs in the paint, as though it wasn't completely dry when they began the glazing process. Not a deal breaker and nobody else would probably even notice. Still a beautiful design! These are heavy duty too. They can be used in the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and the dishwasher! They stack nicely in the cabinet making them good space savers too. I really love the bold, elegant design and the size of this set. Priced very well for the quality and uniqueness.     • Versatile large bowls for ramen, or even serving
These bowls are a little bigger than I had visualized. I got them for serving ramen, but figured they would have other uses. It turns out they are definitely large enough to used to serve side dishes too. They are nicely finished and look like good quality bowls. I like that the underside does not have a deep concave center that would catch water in the dishwasher. I poured in 32 ounces of fluid in them and still have plenty of room to spare. So you could literally serve 32 ounces of soup and not worry about it spilling over. ... show more
