    • Great paper but some rolls are satin shiny and some have a flat color look to it.

I originally bought a 400” and a 200”. I put the 400” up first. When I opened the 200” I noticed that the 400” had a light satin, shiny, sheen gloss look to it and the 200” did not. It was more of a flat color. So I returned the 200" and ordered the 472” so I could have a little extra. The 472” was also a flat color without the satin shine. It was returned and i bought another 400”. It came in today and it had the sheen satin shine to it. Finally! I can finish my accent wall behind the tv. I really don’t know if you can tell the difference once it’s up on the wall but I was afraid half of the wall would somewhat shine! lol. The shiny sheen satin look is very faint and not like a high gloss paint but more of a satin. I read all of the reviews but was somewhat scared I couldn’t put it up by myself. I applied the paper up and down and not sideways. My other walls in the living room have paneling on them so I chose vertical to match. I measured 15 times and cut and then peeled a small section of the back off. I did cut it too long on purpose. I focused on looking at the boards on the paper more than the wall since I have trim to hide any flaws. I rubbed the paper down small sections at a time with a wallpaper kit tool I bought on Amazon. Or you can use your hand or a towel. I stuck it to the wall and had to peel it off and get some wrinkles out. It came off easily and reapplied perfect. The 2nd sheet went on much faster. I used thumbtacks at the top to hold it in place as I was working. Which didn’t really help! The 3rd sheet was much quicker. I put it in place and used 2 thumbtacks on the left side about 2 feet down and same on the right side. That sheet and my 4th sheet went up in probably 2 minutes. I stuck the paper down and pulled it up several times and it was still tacky enough to reapply. I did read that someone had used windex on the wall to help it move around easier but there is no need to use it. Also a couple of the cuts i needed to make didnt have the grid line on the back so i used a straight edge to help cut it. When i was rolling the paper out on the floor to cut it, i tossed it a little too hard and ripped the paper. i placed a piece of clear tape on the front of the paper and used thumbtacks to hold around it while on the wall so i wouldnt rip it more while pulling the backing off. i just used the end of the tack to help get the backing off around the tear. The clear tape is still on the paper and you cant see the tape since it has a sheen shine to it. My wall is paneling and i sprayed degreaser on the wall and wiped it off with a towel. It's been up a week now and still holding fine. I dont know that i would put it in a high traffic area that needed kids dirty finger prints washed off often. It is thin paper but no complaints on its thickness from me. The seams butt up perfectly and you don’t have wasted paper trying to get the pattern to match up with this paper. I hope this review helps others. I would and do plan on buying more wallpaper from this seller. I’m thinking about putting it on an old table and garbage can box that I have in the she shed. Oh yeah… all of the patterns from the different rolls were the same colors and matched up perfectly with the exception of the 400” being a little glossy satin looking! ... show more

It was very easy to use the guides on the back to cut a straight piece. It was easy to peel and stick. I am a teacher so I used it to wrap my classroom door (painted metal door), my bulletin boards (old corkboards), and the hallway bulletin board (wood sheet board material). This could easily be applied to cabinets and filing cabinets. I have not tried it on the painted brick walls, but I imagine it would work well on painted drywall. The material feels sturdy, I used it last school year for bulletin boards and had no issues, that school was also very humid year round too! It is thick enough to fully cover the material behind it. I cannot tell at all what I covered. I think the value for how the product works is worth it for me. If I didn't have to change classrooms, I wouldn't have needed to buy it again. It does not peel up easily once set. I could not get it off of the walls and boards I stuck it to...so I had to order more for the new room! I love the pattern, it is easy to line up, and it looks great! ... show more

I bought one role to see how I would like the look of it before doing one whole wall. The print quality is good and looks realistic enough. But the material is VERY thin, so it tears easily and can wrinkle when applying. I found that using a credit card or other device to attach it made it wrinkle WORSE... just use your hands to smooth and peel back the backing as you go. When making a mistake or having a wrinkle, it is easy to peel it away from the wall and reapply. Just use care not to let it touch itself or you'll have to cut it off and toss it. I have a knock-down finish on my walls and so far, it's adhering well. Will order more to finish this project. Plan to use this as a background for video blogging. Overall, a nice product if you take your time when applying. UPDATE: The paper has remained in place on my wall and looks nice. But, on some rolls the backing stuck and tore instead of peeling off easily. Had to use a credit card and peel back the paper to try and remove the stuck backing which was a pain. But overall, happy with the product. ... show more

This wallpaper was PERFECT for our bedroom - the color & reorder product was EXACT match- we are super happy. The stick on it was good to work w/too, easy to pull off if we stuck wrong. The material was nice however it tore "easier" then we expected for wallpaper so we were careful when applying & such. We have a smallish bedroom about 12x12 & the "darkish" color of the wood in the wallpaper makes the room appear smaller & I was expecting that( my husband did not ;) ) ... show more

I did a DIY epoxy countertop and wanted to add a backsplash to accent my vinyl plank flooring. This is a perfect match. So easy to apply, did it in a couple hours. I should also add I had tried other peel and stick backsplash squares and they did not stick, kept falling off.
