I was a little disappointed when I opened these. I expected them lightweight, but these are very cheap for the price. The height was fine, but they are not distressed wood. They are very thin plywood type material with a paper decal trying to look like distressed wood. I actually wound up painting them because I couldn't take the fake distress decal. These windows are pretty bad! Cheap looking contact paper on some super thin light weight “wood”. They’re not painted but rather printed. The distressing color is an ugly pinkish brown and the edges are very sharp. I wouldn’t try sanding on since it looks like it’s paper and it would ruin it. For the same price I got two square windows made out of chunky real wood with a fantastic chalk paint job. Should’ve just stuck to those. Definitely don’t recommend ... show more

Very cute. I just wished they were a little more sturdy. They seem cheaply made. They are very thin and the slightest bump and they will break. I also did move the hanging hardware so it wouldn’t be visible.
