I enjoyed doing this project very much. It was challenging and satisfying. I did this project in my office at night and didn't have adequate light, so I wasn't able to distinguish between some of the closely colored pieces during the early stages of the build and and to rework those sections to persevere the artistic integrity of this piece. This is by far the prettiest Lego set I've ever seen. It's fun to put them together and it's not that difficult. The only thing is that mine came with 2 missing pieces and 1 piece in a wrong color.

I had originally seen this at a Vincent van Gogh exhibit in New York, but I hadn’t been able to purchase it at the time. I finally got it here and I have to say it’s one of my favorite Lego sets. It’s definitely a complicated build because you’re making a flat image 3-D, and that can affect perspective a little bit. Plus the background has so much blue in it, that I started to lose my ability to differentiate between the different shades. But when it was all done, it absolutely does look amazing. I love the little van Gogh figure it comes with the manager position him so it looks like he’s painting the ceiling in front of them.
