  • snowshoes/Yukon
Style: 10-inch x 36-inch
I have used these shoes three times since purchasing. I have found the bindings are very simple to adjust to your foot. Make sure your foot is fully inserted into the binding before tightening. The heel strap will adjust much easier then ans you shoud have plenty of adjustment. The shoes are lightweight and easy to navigate through deep snow. The extra plus are the fully adjustable poles that come with the shoes. A good deal for the price. ... show more

  • Good but could be much better
Style: 10-inch x 36-inch
These Snowshoes are very functional HOWEVER the boot attachment are very small. I had to SQUEEZE my size 14 winter boots in them and add a strap hole to the heel strap. One would think that a snowshoe sized for up to 300lbs would consider that the foot size would be bigger too. Also the new style of strap tightener needs adjusted more often than a snap in. If other brands weren’t sold out I’d go with them but they were available when I needed them, did the trick, and were functional. ... show more

  • Great shoes
Style: 10-inch x 36-inch
Bindings are great for easy on and off. Very good price for the quality of the snowshoe. Im 225lbs and these kept me up well in 40” of snow. I recommend these for sure

  • Short Straps for the larger 36" Snowshoe
Style: 10-inch x 36-inch
Model 1936 - 36" length First time buying Snowshoes. I naturally assumed that this longer/larger model would have larger everything to compensate for larger people. I Test fit them with my regular boots in December right after it arrived and it fit. Dummy ME, I didn't realize how short the straps were once I got to use them with my insulated boots this past weekend, February 10th. It was a hassle getting these on as the straps barely were long enough to get around my boot. Struggled to pull and stretch, the strap around the back of my heel and then cinching the strap to the buckle. Come on! A snowshoe in a 36" length should have longer straps to accommodate larger people, with larger bodies and larger feet! DUH! Can't return as it's past return date. Hey Yukon, could you lengthen the straps for your 36" models. ... show more

  • Shoes are okay, poles are useless
Style: 8-inch x 25-inch
The snowshoes themselves use a standard form, as if it has been resold to many different companies and branded as such. They are an effective design, although they do lack the heel riser that really helps on the uphill slope. The snowshoes and poles also fit nicely in the provided back, which has a mesh so the shoes can dry out. A major drawback to this purchase was the accompanying hiking sticks. The baskets constantly pop off and are useless... they should have put more threads if they were going to use a screw on design.... Also the tensioners that keep the poles extended do not retain after a rigorous hike... so you will need to readjust them frequently. I am thinking I will put a hose clamp on these poles to hold the baskets in place, that's how bad they suck. As a matter of fact, one of the retaining clips on these poles has completely broken after only 3 uses.... The poles are garbage. ... show more

  • Not practical
Style: 8-inch x 21-inch
I am so dissatisfied with this snowshoe. Last Saturday I went to hiking trip to Catskills it failed me very bad . 4 miles of hell. Never again as soon as come home do started my return process. Very uncomfortable my other friend she didn’t not have any problems with her other brand snowshoe I ended wearing my microspikes. Not easy to wear or take it of constantly was coming loose I got tired tighten the fasten and finally the hook came off loose and over 2 miles I walked with loose snowshoe. Very hard for your heels too . I used to rent it before never had this kind a issue sorry but the money we invest it should be better quality. Think about people’s safety 12 inches of snow you are middle Of no where and you can’t easily use your snowshoe ... show more

  • Straps not good
Style: 10-inch x 36-inch
After the first use the black strap was already splitting...it is a soft rubber and not what should be used for something like this. Very disappointed as we have another pair from the same company and the strap is solid rubber and not bendable.
