Perfect colors to make wax melts. If using soy candle wax you do have to use a lot for the colors to show up if you are making an actual candle, not as much with wax melts since they are smaller. Overall, I really am impressed with these liquid dyes. Better than the wax flakes for coloring.

The colors are beautiful and blend extremely well in soy wax. However the smell is incredibly strong and overpowering. I had to use double the fragrance oil to try to mask the strong paint/chemical smell and after my candles cured they still smelled like paint. So…definitely not what I expected. Does this look red to you?! It’s definitely not. I feel like I wasted money on this. The lighter color was 50 drops in 1lb of wax. The darker was 100 drops. I used over half of the bottle and wasted a lot of materials. Don’t waste your money!

Even after trying to add almost half of 1 dye bottle into the wax (as opposed to the 8 drops I normally do with other brands), my candles are NOT coming out the correct color. I tried to make a vivid red. I got pink. This doesn't work, save your money.

They are easy to use, messy opening for the first time though. The colors are true and work poorly in soy wax but great in higher temperature waxes like bees or paraffin wax.

The 16 piece candle dye set is awesome. I chose the purple dye to make a light purple candle and added some lavender scent to it. It turned out perfect. The directions are so easy use. I really am happy with the dyes and would buy from this seller again. Thank you.
