I got this as a backup device for my kids to practice their foreign languages on. It works fine. The screen size is slightly larger than a large smart phone. The resolution is not top notch but certainly adequate and I can watch video with no problem or being irritated at the picture. This ran my few language apps and video just fine. The case is a very soft and stretchy silicone. It is easily removed. I love that the unit came with a screen protector pre-installed. Yay! The one thing that frustrated me with this unit is that it is slow to respond to input selection. Like, when you click an app icon, there's a lag in registration and the app opening. For a toddler this may not be an issue, but for anyone else who's ever used a responsive touch screen device, like a decent smart phone, it will not be a satisfactory use . ... show more

My daughter is 10 and she loves it. We got this because her iPad broke. Although changing from Apple to android is quite different think this tablet works just fine what a great price. We especially like that it's purse size but bigger than a phone it's perfect.
