  • directions are terrible but rack appears to be good
Size: 2 Fat Tire Bikes
The directions were pretty bad but as I started to put it together it became apparent there was only one way it goes together, which made me fill better about the product. I read some of the complaints on this and the wheel holders breaking at the welds is the one that concerns me. I'll make the appropriate changes to make sure I don't lose an EBike on the highway. From my observation the wheel holders are the weakest part of the rack. My EBikes are 52 lbs apiece so that's half the rated weight. The rest of the rack looks to be of good construction but the hollow rolled steal wheel supports concern me and that was verified by some of these reviews. I suppose if they would have use solid rolled steel it would had added about 10 to 15 lbs to the weight of the rack which isn't a bad weight currently. I'll figure out a way to relieve some of the pressure to the wheel holders maybe bungie cords that pull up. ... show more

  • Sturdy but difficult to assemble
Size: 2 Fat Tire Bikes
I just finished assembling the Young 2-Bike Rack. The directions were horrendous. The pictures were small, and I could not see what parts looked like. Pictures of parts were not provided. Once I had it assembled, I could see it was sturdy. I have not used it. I am only going to use it for a mountain bike and commuter bike, so I am sure it will work well. I like the way you can fold it up for storage. ... show more

  • Needs supplemental support!
Size: 2 Fat Tire Bikes
I bought this rack because I didn’t want to spend $400 + on a high quality rack. It’s not that hard to assemble, just pay attention to the directions. What I don’t like the most about this rack is that the wheel holders and the hooks that come down to keep the bike fastened are all hand tightened with knobs. First time out with it I went through a gas station and ran over one of the fuel covers and watched the hook pop up about 3 inches! I decided to buy a ratcheting strap and feel very secure with it now. I do believe it can, and will accommodate 200 pounds. If you buy it, I recommend you get the ratcheting straps for some peace of mind. Don’t bother with the cheesy little Velcro straps they give you to tie the wheels to the wheel holders, because they are worthless. I don’t even use anything now for the wheels as I feel that the ratcheting strap holds my 73 pound bike down very securely. So all in all, worth the money if you spend another 10-20 for straps!! ... show more

  • Nice rack
Size: 2 Fat Tire Bikes
It’s a nice rack. However one of the tire slide on mount seemed to buckle a bit after putting my bike on the rack. Granted I have an e-bike that weighs 77 lbs but I don’t think it should do that

  • Easy to Assemble despite instructions

Mounts to receiver without a problem. Can be mounted by single individual but easier with two

  • Holds my e-bike plus my husband’s regular bike
Size: 2 Fat Tire Bikes
The assembly took awhile and we encountered a few hiccups, but we eventually figured it out. It is heavy, but it has to be. It was much more reasonably priced than others I saw. Can’t wait to put it to use!

  • Missing parts
Size: 2 Fat Tire Bikes
The product looks like it should work and my Fucare Libra bike fits in the cradle. (I haven't field tested it yet). I put it together - a bit complicated but just takes a while. In assembling the rack, I discovered that a couple of small items were missing - 3 "spring washers" and 3 associated knobs/nuts. I found 3 nuts in my junk drawer but only after putting it all together and seeing how things worked, I discovered that the spring washers were not the enclosed lock washers but actual springs. So now I discover that you can't get a couple of $1 (?) springs without sending the whole thing back and starting over. Maybe I can find a spring that would work at Lowes/Home Depot. :-( ... show more
