Features

  • Heated Engine: Help you start car quickly. In cold winter, use silicone heating pad to heat the engine and transmission before starting the car, reduce the consistency of the oil to keep the oil as a thin liquid, thus better lubricating the engine and reducing wear and tear, extending the life of the engine and transmission and starting the car quickly.
  • Replaces Block Heaters: Magnets do not work on aluminum oil pan, which is what most cars have. Oil pan heaters are suitable for both cast iron and aluminum engine oil pans.Economical and convenient solution.
  • High Quality Material: Made of high quality silicone, waterproof and oil-proof, the waterproof design of the silicone and power cord connection reduces the risk of short circuit. The hotter the upgraded silicone is the stronger the adhesion. Fast heating, then constant at 194 F / 90C, prevent the safety hazards caused by high temperature.
  • Easy to Install: Clean and dry the flat surface of the device, peel off the paper backing and apply the oil pan heater, using magnets/adhesives can extend the adhesion time (magnets and adhesives not included); plug the 120V 2-prong power cord into the wall outlet and heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Wide Range of Applications: Two silicone heating pads can be used on the transmission and the engine respectively. Unlike block heaters that do not adhere to aluminum engine oil pans, 150W automotive engine heating pads are used to heat fluids on any metal surface such as engine oil pans, transmissions, diesel tractor engines, snow blowers, generators, etc.; for metal surfaces only: keep away from plastic; note: extremely high temperatures, do not touch.

  • Works fine on snowmobile
Color: 1 PCS(2*5 inch)
First, the bad reviews have one thing in common: The heater was not attached to the metal of the engine. These, like all heating tapes/pads, need to be attached to dissipate the heat, if you don't have good contact all around they will burn out. I added high temp silicone gasket adhesive to make sure it stayed where I put it and stayed on my 2-stroke snowmobile engine and was in contact everywhere on the pad. Two hours on helps, but several hours with a cover over the snowmobile works better. 2-strokes have no oil to heat up, just the metal. I affixed it to the only flat spot on the polaris motor, right where the serial number is. ... show more

  • It heats well the hydraulic fluid on a machine
We installed two of these on one of our machines needing hydraulic fluid. During the last, cold winter the hydraulic unit struggled to start in the mornings due to too cold oil. These heating pads kept the fluid warm enough overnight that a start in the morning was no problem anymore.

  • Not bad for the money.
Ordered them for my John Deere tractor that doesn't have glow plugs. They help alot especially considering the price. The factory adhesive doesn't stick well. Yes I cleaned the surface extremely well to make sure it was oil and grease free first. You will need a silicone based gasket maker to put around the perimeter to help it stay on the surface. ... show more

  • Instructions was followed- works great!
Works good on my 78 ford. Used the gasket maker and glued it too the oil pan because wasnt gonna just use the sticky pad and i put magnets on it too with the gasket maker. So it aint going no where with high temp black silicone spray paint to match my oil pan and all looks good. Only plug in a hour before hand or 2 and in stead of pumping my truck 6 times and still not running it only takes 3 pumps first start after that im all good too go. So saves about 30 mins of sitting there anf warming it up. ... show more

  • Hardly A Challenge
Color: 1 PCS(2*5 inch)
Cold weather extremes are hardly a challenge for this little engine block heating pad, giving your engine a head-start when the going gets tough. Installation was easy and quick, after assuring the selected contact surface area was properly cleaned (dirt & oil free) and devoid of compound curves. After installing the self-adhesive silicone rubber heating pad, I added a small bead of Permatex red hi-temp silicone adhesive around the perimeter of the pad to prevent oil from getting into the adhesive area. ... show more

  • Works
The pads work but not as well as a plug replacement where heater is inside the water jacket. On the engine I installed them on the water jacket plug is only 3/8” so no one makes a heater that size. I will probably install a hose style heater in the future but will need to do some rerouting for that and wanted something to use in the winter quickly. It definitely helps with starting and warming the oil for flow. I have not had any problems with them after a couple months of use. ... show more

  • This died on me after just 2 months
- Bought two of these in Nov 2022 and as of Jan 2023 both are dead. I used them always-on to keep a little heat surrounding my eBike battery. I never used the adhesive as I'd let these hang loosely over my eBike with a gentle blanket draped atop. - Should I send them back?
