I have used this grip tape on several repair projects around the house. I really appreciate that the tape has high adhesion as well as increasing the ability to grip. Additionally, the tape is very tough and durable and should last for a while once applied.

This Rubber Grip Tape is a great help when I want extra grip. The tape itself is black, and is quite thin with a low profile, which helps when you don't want the tape to necessarily stand out. The adhesion is really good, and I haven't had any issues of it coming off or moving around. The outside tape has a rubbery feel, and has some diamond cuts in the design to help provide extra grip. This has been great as the tape can sometimes feel a bit too thin, and for some situations, I've found it helpful to go over the tape several times. I like how wide the tape is, which is 2 inches, which helps cover plenty of surface area. I found that for the cost, the amount of tape you get is a bit expensive, and I thought it be helpful to have a little more "grip." It's helpful that there are some instructions on the back of the label to help you use the tape most effectively. ... show more

I really like the feel of this grip tape, more of a rubbery feel than sandpaper or anything, so be aware of that before deciding to purchase. I was quite impressed by the amount of adhesion this tape has on the sticky side, I wouldn't say I've seen that too often then the non-adhesive side has been the focal point. I evaluated this tape on a child’s toy that was very slippery to hold, especially when moving your hands around. The tape is indeed ultra-thin as claimed and has excellent adhesion, which is great. However, given its very low profile, the anti-slip/grip is minimal. While the tape did help, the improvement was only slightly better but not much at all. I also applied the tape to 1 inch metal tubing with the same results. I was expecting much more of a grip and surprised how smooth the tape was when I received it. Overall, I would recommend this tape for applications where adhesion or being waterproof is the primary concern, but not for anti-slip/grip purposes. ... show more

Got this tape to wrap a splintery broom handle and it's working great. I wasn't sure how well it would stick to the wood, but it's been on for 3 weeks now sitting on my front porch and is still sticking fast. The tape is not quite as grippy as I thought it would be but it is pretty thin so it's not going to have an edge that's easy to catch. High quality grip tape. The adhesive is quite strong and readily sticks to most surfaces. The diamond pattern is really nice looking, and the rubber material provides a lot of grip. Easily cuts into narrower strips if needed. The tape is quite thin, but still very durable, so it has a nice low profile when wrapped on a surface. As a thin, strong, and well adhered tape, this is amazing. I mean, seriously, it holds great, keeps a low profile, and is sturdy as heck. However, don't use this for something you really want to hold on to. This is not Grip tape, in the sense that it has anti-slip properties in your hand. Maybe they mean that it grips well to the surface? But that is covered with the word, adhesive. In any case, it is a worthy snag if you need it for purposes other than grip. ... show more
