Features

  • Fix Error Codes - Yorkim 4pcs 50w 6ohm Load Resistors can fix your LED lights problems such as blinker flash error, no flashing or burnt out bulb indications, hyper flashing of led turn signal or license plate light bulbs, OBC error messages of other LED bulbs.
  • Current Control - The 50watt 6 ohm resistor will control the current flow in electrical circuits and put a specific amount of resistance into your LED lights to make it function properly. The resistor is made of high quality materials to sustain a long period of time.
  • Easy Installation - It is super easy to install these LED resistors, just connect one wire to ground and other wire to the turn/brake wire. Apply provided quick wire clips so you don't have to cut any existing wires. It will work on any vehicle and can be connected across the turn signal bulbs or License Plate Lights to simulate the load of a regular filament bulb (2 Amp load).
  • Attention - Load Resistor gets very HOT when working, please mount it on metal surface. Do not mount on plastic surface, hose or painted surface to avoid melting. One load resistor is required for one turn signal bulb or one license plate bulb.
  • Yorkim offers 1 year hassle free service on return/refund or replacement to make your purchase risk free! Package includes: 4 pcs

  • 2 out 4 bad out of the box but made it work
One of their competitors notes having more robust connectors where the wire meets the resistors. I should have gone with them. One connector was open, the wire having come loose beneath the insulation, just from being crimped in transit. I knew it was open the second I touched it and it was confirmed with VOM. Another did the same thing while I was installing it. I only needed two of the four resistors and fortunately the other two seem to have stayed together at least through installation. I can also salvage the two bad ones, installing more robust connections, and will keep them as spares...but, why should I have had to? On edit: These things are worse than I thought. When I went to repair the two resistors that had open wire connections, I found that the extremely small gauge pigtail wires are attached by pushing a small section of stripped wire through an eyelet on the resistor and then encasing it in shrink wrap. That's it. That's the mechanical and electrical connection. There is no slide on wire terminal. There is no solder. The connection is so unreliable that I will remove the resistors I have already installed, solder new wires onto all of them, and reinstall it all. Twice the work because of a cheaply made product. ... show more

  • Lasted a week
I only needed 2 of these for my tail lights but ordered the 4 pack anyway. When it arrived there were only 3 in the package. As I mentioned I only needed 2 so didn't bother to send them back. These resistors need to be mounted behind the tail light enclosure so you have to drill holes in your car to either screw or rivet them in place; they are not super easy to install but don't require a college degree either. I was pleased with them for the week that they worked; the LEDs were bright and everyone knew when I was turning. After a week, one of these resistors went bad and my turn signals ceased to work at all. Rather than going through any more hassles I bought a pair of regular bulbs, disconnected these resistors, and replaced the LED bulbs with the regular bulbs. My lights work fine now and I could have saved myself a lot of time, effort, and about $25 for resistors and LEDs if I had just bought bulbs to begin with. Lesson learned. ... show more

  • Silverados beware
My Silverado senses a drop in turn signal current to detect a burnt out incandescent bulb. These resistors should mimic the current draw of the original bulbs. Rapid flashing stopped when I replaced one burnt out incandescent with an LED bulb and one of these resistors. When I replaced the second incandescent with an LED in parallel with a resistor, rapid flashing resumed. The circuit worked in all regards: all lights lit and the two dummy load resistors got about equally warm. I'll replace all turn signal bulbs with LED's, throw the dummy load resistors away, and put up with rapid flashing. ... show more

  • Hot in use so must mount to metal
Resistors are doing great, except they are HOT when Parking Lights are on; Resistors run well over 200 deg F !! Installation is fairly simple electrically: wired in simple parallel (bridge the existing 2 +/- wires , no polarity) between existing "Turn Signal" bulb activating 2 wires. Parking Light wiring need no connection. Suggest you use volt meter to determine which 2 wires activate the Turn Signal bulb function, after that you need to plan the wire leads connecting runs to existing wiring harness, and Resistor locations on metal. This is most important since you MUST screw mount the actual Resistors to Metal for heat dissipation. The lengths of wire leads that come with resistors is adequate in most cases (think 12"), but any less may cause problem (add more 20 gauge wire). Quick Splice connectors are easy and efficient using only pliers. ... show more

  • Easy Install, Once I Figured it Out
Title says it all. Watched a 3 minute YouTube video on how to install resistors (pretty much all of them are universal,) and in less than ten minutes, I had two working blinkers! They got a four star, simply because a small instruction manual in the box can show the customer how to install these; it's really simple, once you know what needs to be done! I have Yorkim LED's in all but ONE section of my car (that's a ton of bulbs for exterior & interior,) and I cannot be happier. ... show more

  • Solder the connections and use self sealing tape
They definitely did the trick and got rid of the hyper flash on my 07 Chevy Silverado (new body style). You will need some self tapping screws. I would also suggest soldering them in to make sure you have a good connection. As long as they are installed properly they will do the job! I actually added some wire so if I have to remove the headlight assembly's again it will give me some extra room to change bulbs. I also used self sealing tape to seal the connections. Locktite has some very good self sealing tape available. ... show more

  • Works for 3157 and 194 combination blinkerand side marker led bulbs on a 2000 GMC Sierra
Works for 3157 and 194 combination blinker and side marker led bulbs on a 2000 GMC Sierra. This helped to allow the 194 led bulb to light up as well as blink. I tried just the led indicator relay but that only worked for me to stop hyper flash of the 3157 led bulb. It may just be me or just my truck but after installing the resistor, everything is now working great. I will update later if I run into any issues. ... show more

  • Worth it!
I installed these in my 2013 Subaru Forester in conjunction with the LED turn signals that I also purchased and installed. I soldered them onto the wires instead of using the included tapits. The only problem I ran into was one of the wires from one of the resistors became disconnected, and the heat shrink of the same wire had lacerations parallel to the sharp edges of the metal bar that they were connected to; I re-did all the connectors by soldering and applying my own heat shrink tubes that are a little bit thicker. ... show more
