  • Great size for an Ender 3, big, but not too big - very lightweight
Style: LargeSize
Got this for my Ender 3 after building a crappy cardboard box enclosure. This thing works very well, has reflective inner liner and helps hold the heat in better. Blocks the wind (ceiling fan) really well as well, and keeps the printer much cleaner from dust and dander and cat fuzz in the house. The frame is kind of tricky to get pushed together tightly enough to get it into the enclosure, so plan on a little time to guide it all in, but once in, it is very rigid and fits perfectly. ... show more

  • Great for the price
Style: LargeSize
I now have 5 of these enclosures. You are getting what you pay for. You get a insulated enclosure with plastic window, side pocket for tools and easy access panel on side. It has worked great to keep heated prints hot and with the front open it's easy access to the entire machine or you can reach in through the velcro side access to keep heat from escaping. The insulation is THIN but works. I DID break one of the rod connectors but I was able to just 3D print another one. Fyi it will NOT support you if you use to to get off your knees from the ground. BARELY fits my Ender 5 S1 as descirbed. I have about an inch of clearance on the sides. Great fit for Enders 3s, P1Ps, and AnkerMaker. Will NOT fit a large build plate machine like the Neptune 3 MAX (but what does). The outside material is cheap and punctured easily BUT it all works. It's like an economy car with the basics that does what it's suppose to do. No frills no bells just does what it's suppose to do. ... show more

  • Hits 30 C with PETG temperatures and no enclosure heater
Style: Ender 3d printer enclosure
Bought this for printing PETG, ASA, and other materials susceptible to warping. With an Ender 3 running at 250 C hotend and 90 C bed, the enclosure maintains a temperature of approximately 30 C in typical room temperatures, hot enough to stop large PETG parts from warping. Also helps reduce noise from printer fans and the like. For hotter temperatures you will need an enclosure heater, I will be adding one soon but this enclosure is a good starting point. ... show more

  • Difficult to assemble by a single person
Style: LargeSize
While there's nothing complex with the structure, it's difficult to keep the frame together while getting it in the enclosure, due to the relatively loose fit of the pieces used to connect the fiberglass tubes, both for joining the two halves of each tube and the corner. In addition, once everything is aligned properly, it takes a little bit of effort to stretch the sides, top corners, and rear portion of the enclosure over the frame. It would be much easier for two to assemble than one. Finally, it also look like after installing it you will have to do a some tweaking of your temperature settings due to improved heat retention, and oh yes, "3D Printer Enclosure" in turquoise on the top front panel looks really tacky. ... show more

  • Huge
Style: LargeSize
My husband got a 3 d printer for his bday so for Christmas I got him the cover, this will keep dust particles from getting into any of the components. He said he can have it on while zipped up in there but doesn’t , just when not in use he has his 3 d printer put away. Very good quality and easy to assemble. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Style: Ender 3d printer enclosure
Although assembly instructions were lackluster, it's not hard to figure out what goes where. I would have given it 5 stars if the zipper was further down and the side access was on the right hand side instead of the left.

  • Quality piece, but...
Style: Ender 3d printer enclosure
This is a great enclosure for the Ender 3 V2. Well made, well thought out. I bought it because I wanted to print some ASA and ABS and needed to keep it warm. Worst decision of my printing career. Even after cleansing myself of that horror-show, the pain lived on. In short, I figured since I already bought the enclosure I might as well use it, if nothing else, to keep the printer clean. That's when the real nightmare began. No print after the ASA worked. after a short while, the PLA would stop flowing (yes I changed back to PLA settings). I changed everything to trouble shoot, nozzles, hot end, spools, feeder, feed arm, yada yada yada. In the end, it was the enclosure itself. Once it warms up enough, it softens the PLA enough that it won't feed any longer, just skip. I print at 200/70, never had an issue with adhesion or layering. I will eventually use the enclosure again over the winter, but will install and exhaust fan and vent it out. In the meantime, it sits disassembled in a closet. Bottom, use only if necessary, not just to keep dust off. ... show more
