I do fine finish carpentry and construction for a living so I could've built something but at $100 I couldn't pass this up. Assembly came fairly easy with two drills running. One drill with a #3 Phillips bit and another drill with a T15 torx bit acting as my Allen wrench. I can't imagine anyone actually assembling this with an Allen wrench and screwdriver, but I did use a screwdriver for the power strip and drawer handle screws to avoid stripping them. I used a stopwatch and it took 18 minutes to unbox, lay everything out, break up the Styrofoam, cut up the cardboard, and fit it all in a black contractor bag. Assembly took 44 minutes with 2 minor mistakes where I just needed to take out a couple screws to flip some framing pieces around. I haven't peeled all the stickers off yet but based on attempting one you will need a scraping blade and it will probably take 5-10 minutes to get all of them. So call it 1 hr 15 mins- 1 hr 30 mins total if you're experienced, upwards of 2 hours if you're inexperienced. Without a drill it would probably take 4 hrs to assemble, which would be a nightmare. I wish the top was only 2 pieces but it's the 3 pieces that makes it reversible. I think if they just added some extra screw holes that may be left blank depending on configuration then they could've gotten away with a 2 piece top. It's also a little more orange than I thought it would be, but no biggy, my fault for not looking closer at the listed pictures. The drawer is cloth covered cardboard and everything is laminated particle board but for $100 you really can't beat the functionality. It's a good size, has the extra upper shelves, and the power strip is a nice little bonus. I like the 29" height because my window sills are 30" high so I didn't have to worry about blocking the window at all, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased it. The price makes it a throwaway once it starts falling apart. I can't say for sure, but I would guess that the first points of failure will probably be the edge banding wherever your office chair hits or where your arm is moving the mouse around. If that happens then just super glue it ASAP, soften the edge with some sandpaper, and hit it with a brown marker. ... show more

After moving, we needed a new desk for the house. After looking around in different furniture sellers and online furniture stores, we finally resorted to Amazon, as we were struggling to find something we wanted within our budget (moving expenses can skyrocket really quick). I loved this piece but I was honestly a little bit worried, as the price was too good to be true. The desk was delivered extremely quick (arrived at the new place a day before we were in!, but that is my faul!). Assembling it was really easy as the instructions were very clear, and you kind of assemble different pieces of it, and then put it together. The desk is sturdy enough to handle some weight, and my weight, as I usually lean against it often. I personally love that I have enough space to have my legs comfortably under it, as it was a problem I had with previous desks. Definetely recommend to anyone looking for a similar desk, as it offers more value for the money as other options in the market. 10/10. ... show more

This is honestly the best desk I have ever had! It’s spacious, sturdy, and serves multiple purposes. I use it to charge multiple devices and the color changing lights are an awesome bonus! It was really easy to put together, I did it myself in less than 2 hours! I have already recommended it to multiple people and will continue to do so. Building my Lego have never felt more safe. I completed assembly of last step only to turn the page at the end and see that the alternate directions were in the back (the direction I wanted/needed for size of area) now I have to disassemble and redo the opposite way!
