These chairs are a good value. Difficult to put together though. First chair took an hour+ and second chair took longer. Two of the screws did not adhere to the frame properly and I had my husband drill new holes and added wood glue for extra support. I put them together myself otherwise (73 year old 5 foot woman) so anyone can if you have sufficient time and patience! They are very firm, which for me is a feature with my bad back. These are not a solid wood frame expensive item from the Carolinas or furniture you can expect to pass on to your children, but decent enough. Fabaric a perfect ivory color and nice linen look. They are large enough not to appear out of scale in my living room but small enough not to crowd the space. My feet touch the ground with a pillow in the back, otherwise wouldn't, but I am very short. Overall I would purchase again. ... show more

I wanted an accent chair but also something comfortable for reading. As an accent chair this is great but the back is way to short with no neck or head support so likely not the best option for reading. I would recommend adding an ottoman for leg comfort. Recommend using a flashlight when assembling so you can line up screws easier. Worth the price! ... show more

Got this as an accent chair for the bedroom, so it's not going to be used all that much. It looks just as nice as in the picture, and it's actually quite comfortable if you do want to relax in it, which I do occasionally. However, putting it together was strange and tricky. Maybe it's just me...I did it by myself which was awkward, trying to get everything lined up, screwed in tight, while holding the pieces together simultaneously. If you have someone to help you do it...it would be better, but yes you can assemble it by yourself. It also doesn't feel all that sturdy when you sit on it....again, it could just be my assembly, but it's okay when I relax in it, but I wouldn't trust a lot of weight leaning on the back of it, but for my purposes, this is fine. If you are looking for more of an accent piece, this is a great value and a lovely chair, I don't regret my purchase at all. But if you're putting this in a living area, where it's going to get some heavy use....I might think twice about it. My two cents. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So glad I purchased this chair for my bedroom. I got the gray, perfect consistent color. The chair is comfortable to sit in and sturdy. I read some of the reviews that said the legs were wobbly. Not my experience at all. The screws lined up perfectly. The trick is that you have to put them in there straight and you have to keep turning the allen wrench until the screw is flush with the wood. Yes, it will feel like you are done turning because it gets tight. If it isn't flush, take the screw out and try it again. I used my own short allen wrench for most of the assembly, the one that comes with it is long and better to use when attaching the seat and back. I also used a neck light to help me see as I was inserting the screws. A one woman job, probably can get it done in 30 mins if you line the screws up correctly.
