I have a bad habit of reading reviews after I buy something and often it makes me anxious. Well, I am 75 y/o and I put this chair together alone. For the record, I have weak wrists. My only issue was that the rear legs caused me a lil trouble tightening the bolts, but I stayed with it. This chair is sturdy and well built. Cushions are firm. Every hole lined up perfectly. One bolt on a rear leg could be tighter, but I couldn't do it. Actually, this chair is far better than I expected. Don't be afraid to buy this item. One reviewer was unhappy and supplied a photo. Looks like they didn't tighten the bolts enough. Happy here in PA. ... show more

Accent Chair This is my fourth time buying a chair here and this is the best of the four. Actually, two were duds. $250 wasted on dud chairs, so I didn't know what to expect from this one. I was surprised on how compact it was before putting it together. It took me about an hour to put together and I'm still scratching my head on why. You install the legs then attach the seat area to the back. Should of been quick! Anyways, let me go through the "ideas" list: -It's not heavy nor lightweight. It will be easy to move around when I clean my bedroom. -It feels sturdy, but I did tighten the screws well. -The color is two tonal and it has a linen look, not sure if it actually is. I don't love the two tone but I plan on putting a throw on it. On first sitting I didn't find it comfortable, but I added a pillow for my back and added my short foot stool. It feels better now! Let me add that I love that there are no arm rests which allows for movement. Finally, I'm not in love with the black legs against cream fabric. Might have to paint them brown. ... show more

These chairs look really nice, but for comfort, I give them a 2-star rating. The back is cut so low that at 5'3", there is no neck or head support. This is very important since you are forced to be somewhat reclined simply due to the design. Other than that, the assembly was fairly easy and they seem to be sturdy. I ordered these chairs after much deliberation, for my foyer which has an alcove to one side that literally serves no purpose. The chairs came in 2 pieces, back and seat, and were relatively easy to put together. The material is kind of like a linen which seems pretty durable and is definitely easy to clean with a damp cloth. They are not super comfortable and are actually quite hard, so definitely not the curl up and read a book type chair, but they are great for what we use them for which is basically a place to sit down and put your shoes on/off as you leave/enter the front door. ... show more
