Arrived on time in 5 boxes as stated. There were no damages to pergola frame, packed very well, and all parts for assembly were accounted for to build. I spent 4 hours completing all sub assemblies prior to erecting next day. Me and Friend spent 3 hours final assembly including bolting to patio. I used purchased Red Head 3/8 inch 3 inches long expansion bolts, as IMO, the 1/4 supplied not long enough or sturdy. Note: I had to predrill the mounting flanges at base of columns to 7/8 to ease hammering 3/8 inch 3 inches long Red Heads through flange into concrete. The pergola is made very well, quality product that is easy to assemble. Louver actuation very smooth and easy to turn. Powder coating on louvers is well done and faux wood finish is very good. Instructions are good with blown up details when needing the extra details for assembly. Highly recommend this product. ... show more

We went into it expecting that it was going to take us the better part of a day to put it together. It did. But it wasn't too difficult. The most time was spent trying to understand the directions. There was one part we just couldn't figure out, so we skipped it. Now that it is up, we understand the piece is supposed to go over some of the seams with the sealant to prevent leakage from those seams when it rains. Not a big deal to go back and put them in now that we see the purpose. I did have a few louvres that were bent. I reached out to customer support. It took more back and forth than I would have liked. They first offered me $30 instead of replacing them, When I said no, I wanted them replaced because of how they were bent it was impacting the water resistance. Then it was like starting over and having to repeat myself on what the part number was and how many I needed. All in all, I had the replacement parts within 1.5 weeks. Not bad in the grand scheme of things. The fact that it comes with the curtains and the netting makes this a better value than most I have seen. The description says the courier will call you to schedule delivery. That wasn't the case for me. They came Fedex and they were just going to be dropped off. I had to pay to schedule the delivery on a different day because we were out of town when they were planning to bring them. Someone mentioned that they were surprised how loud it is when it rains. I didn't quite understand until I experienced it in person. The drainage system routes all the water down the posts of the pergola. As the water drips and it is pinging off the metal it is a sound that is noticeable. I find it pleasant. I don't think it is loud enough that it would be an issue if you were trying to have a conversation. I liked it so much I ordered a second one to go over the other portion of my patio. I was just going to use a large umbrella to go over the dining table. But this looks so nice and works so well at keeping things dry - I ordered a second one. Finally - I didn't want to drill into my newly poured concrete patio. I ordered some 12x12 concrete planters. We poured about 6 inches of concrete into the bottom of those with a PVC pipe in the middle of the concrete so the water can drain out the bottom- and then bolted the pergola posts to that concrete instead. Yes it raises the height of the pergola, but I think that is a plus. Neither of us are exceptionally tall I am 5'7" and he is 5'10" - but the six inches of extra height feels better. If you do this - listen when your partner says, "shouldn't we pour the concrete first so when we assemble the pergola, we can just set the posts into that right away?" - needless to say we didn't do that and we had to get jacks to lift up the entire pergola high enough to set it back down into the planters. We will do it my way when we put together the second one. It looks really nice with some plants in those planters on top of the concrete. ... show more

Bought the 10x12 pergola, measurement are NOT on point. I was putting these on pavers which had no cement underneath. I reassembled these in my basement in order to get a proper center to center measurement of 137" x 110". Then I had concrete footers or piers installed at those measurements by 10" diameter, 42" deep. Quality of pergola was good for the value, had to also get some missing bolts from hardware store, in the end more bolts were supplied than needed. I purchased this for our patio. I took my time and built most of it myself in about 6-8 hours (including some breaks and unpacking everything). We got the wood-grain version. The louvers are white on it and you can really tell a difference with how much cooler it is under the pergola. I have to guess the white helps reflect some heat. The quality is impressive and while it’s not clear in the description, each of the four sections on the roof open and close independently. There are built in gutters around the structure that divert water from the louvers out to the sides and down the legs. I have heard others complain that the instructions aren’t clear. I watched a YouTube video of a couple putting this together and picked up some tips from them. The instructions are all illustrations - which can get frustrating) but overall, if you’ve put anything like this together before, you should be just fine. It’s an awesome addition to our patio and I’d highly recommend this to anyone! ... show more

I still haven’t heard back from Yoleny on the box that is the wrong color. I need a dark grey box A to match the rest of the pergola. I am very frustrated.

After months of reviewing pergolas, I decided to specifically buy this one because it was listed as “Black”. I have a black fence and wanted it to match. This 10 box monster gets offloaded onto your driveway buy the UPS man that now hates you, because 2 boxes weigh 100 lbs each. After opening the boxes and starting to organize the parts, I finally noticed that it’s NOT black. It’s not even close to Black…it’s charcoal a mix of brown and grey. That being said it took 7 hours to put this thing up. All parts were there, instructions were easy, I only had one part that was bent from shipping. ... show more
