I've been using this phone holster daily for a month now and it's perfect for me. The description said that the XXL size is right for a Samsung Galaxy and that's correct, the fit is perfect. The front, back and flap are made of a stiff material and the sides are flexible. I have a protective case that goes around the back and sides of my phone and the phone with case fits in the holster perfectly. The belt loop could accommodate a 3 inch wide belt. I use a 1.5 inch belt and that gives the holster some room to slide up out of the way when I sit in car seat (I wear it just behind the second belt loop from the front on a pair of jeans, so kind of at my right-rear corner). Quality of this phone holder is great. My IPhone 14 fits perfectly inside. It is comfortable on my on my side and doesn’t have that bulky metal belt clip, which is why I chose this holder. The price was another reason I bought it. Very satisfied with my purchase.

    • Keeps your phone out of your pocket

I've had this for a couple of weeks now, so I can't speak to its longevity/durability. I ordered it to keep my phone out of my pocket - recently switched to iPhone XR and I feel like it's a very fragile device, plus it has a super high radiation output rating (specific absorption rate, or SAR), so yeah, I don't want it parked so close to my man parts and figured a holster would be better than holding a phone in my hand all the time. The good: -seems pretty well built for what it is -the softer part of the velcro is on the flap; the spikes are on the outside of the pouch, so no chance of scratching your screen if you don't hold the flap up with one hand while pulling the phone out with the other. -fairly wide belt loop that doesn't limit you to thin belts -iPhone XR fits perfectly with a UAG Monarch case on it. It is not difficult to get the phone in or out of this holster. The phone does not rattle around inside; it's snug and secure and never feels like it will fall out. the not so good: -it flexes a bit; isn't rigid. That's a double edged sword, because if it was more rigid, it would hurt if you bend over or sit down, but this also means that it would not be a good idea to keep your phone in it while you are driving or sitting in a car, because your phone will flex and then eventually suffer flexion damage (note: this doesn't mean your phone will be or remain visibly bent, but that the internal board will bend and return to place, which is what causes problems). I take my phone out of this case before I get into my car or before I sit down on anything but a high stool. -even with the phone out, it still presses against you firmly if sitting down, so you will always know the holster is there What would make it (or others like this) better? I'd say something like a long blade knife sheath that has a high belt loop, but the actual part that holds the device to be below that, allowing it to move up and back down with your movement, so that the device doesn't bend or jam you in the leg or waist if you are sitting, bending or moving around. All in all, this is a very good phone holster and I'm happy with it. If only I could be happy with the awful iPhone... ... show more

*Edited: I saw this come up on sale so I grabbed another 2 while the prices were really great! I can’t recommend this holder enough to people. It’s durable, and keeps my phone safe. The Velcro is still a bit noisy, but I’m looking at modifying an old one (as a test subject) to see if I can put a strong magnet to replace the Velcro. I bought this just a few years ago for an iPhone 10. It was great to have because I could have easy access to my phone while using the carabiner clip on whatever pants I was wearing. Eventually the Velcro wore out and the carabiner clip broke off, so it was time to buy a new one to go with my upgraded iPhone. Again, it fits the phone well, makes it easy to access, and protects the phone from the elements. It’s been great to have. ... show more

This is the second one of these I've had. They are convenient to hold your cell phone. There are different options as to how you want to attach it to your clothing. I wear mine on my belt. Why is this one my second? Because after time and numerous instances of opening and closing, the Velcro pads get weak and no longer work effectively.
