I purchased the Yizhet 60 Pack Grow Sponges with high hopes for starting my indoor garden, but unfortunately, they did not live up to my expectations. Despite following all instructions and using seeds that typically germinate well, these sponges seemed to inhibit growth rather than support it. After a couple of weeks, very few of my seeds sprouted, and the ones that did were weak and didn’t thrive. The sponges also didn’t seem to retain moisture as well as other products I’ve used, which may have contributed to the poor results. I was really disappointed with the performance, especially since I've had success with other brands. These grow sponges may work for other users, but they didn’t suit my gardening needs. They seem to be decent pods, but I definitely wouldn't use them for larger seeds. When wet, they still stay very firm, not leaving much give for young lrg seeds that need space to expand (ie: squash, pea and bean) so I feel like it suffocated 50% of the seeds from sprouting. Of the ones that did make it, they seem to be doing fine. No issues.
