These are great grips with a very well positioned horn. I was hesitant since the horn cannot be independently positioned, but they are very comfortable right out of the box. They were very easy to install and the tools needed were included in the box. Great value for the price.

It works great and costs 1/3 of what the original German design does. It locks on both ends, but each end has a different size allen head. Flat bar bikes have the problem of only having the one hand position; these grips give a vertical hand position, which keeps the hands from getting numb from ulnar nerve compression on the longer rides. I bought a second set for my daughter's bike; even at 11, I saw her trying to shake the numbness out of her hands. ... show more

Quick installation, adjust to your preference. I like to switch hand positions from fingers curled around handgrips to resting hands gently on the "horns", it does reduce the hand fatigue. They look good on my hybrid bike's straight handlebars. I'm happy

    • Good pair of grips but had a defect in the rubber
Had a defect in the rubber so I returned it. Otherwise grips were decent. I bought an identical one from another seller to replace it which didn’t have any issues. I think there all made by the same manufacturer

    • Easy to install!
I bought these to replace some old grips that were wearing out. They were easy to install and prevented my hands from going numb on my ride. I like the "horns" on the side as an extra place to rest my hands while riding. My last pair didn't have them so it's a nice addition.

The idea of ergonomic grips is great. The part of the grip one feels is made out of high quality rubber. The problem with these grips is that they have a hard plastic core that does not compress when the clamps are tightened down. To attempt to make them work I placed two layers of duct tape, so I had to tap the grips in place with a rubber hammer; now, they would not move. I tightened down the 4mm and 3mm Allen bolts on one grip, no problem. The other grip the 4mm bolt tightened down, but the 3mm bolt snapped. To remove the locking collar I had to drill out the bolt. I tried all sorts of other hardware; they all bent. I pried of the collar and used electrical tape to cover the mangled part of the grip and handlebar. If I ever want to remove my brake levers or shifters; I will have to cut my handlebars. ... show more

    • Remove old grips
Getting the old grips off was the hardest part. I lifted them up with a thin screwdriver and squirted some silicone lubricant underneath. It still took patience. I had to relocate my bar end mirror but that was okay. I like the new grips.
