I like the price and functionality of these racks on our 2018 Highlander. We've had them for about six weeks now and I've used them to carry lumber, a Kayak and a large canoe (2 hours at high speed on the highway with the canoe). They come with limited instructions, but were easy to install in about 15 minutes after I watched a couple of on-line videos. It helped to have a ratchet wrench to install the four mounting bolts to the highlanders roof. Bottom line, they work great, do not make any additional wind noise at high speeds, and cost more than $300 less that the dealership. If you can DIY, this is a great deal. The one thing they lack is the rubberized surface that I liked on my old Tule roof racks. I addressed this by using a piece of rubber inner tube when I have metal surfaces in direct contact with the racks. Some of the paint on the aluminum rack wore off before I did this. I don't care about the painted surface sine the top of the rack is never visible. ... show more

    • Good sturdy, solid and economical roof cross bars
Haven’t used it yet but it installed easily and looks great. The rubber flanges that go against the vehicle seem a little flimsy but work fine for now. Best bang for the buck.

Love these, so much more cost effective than what you get from the dealer. I installed mine in about an hour. The directions I received were just fine. Some came with the unit and I received an email version. To be honest I’m not much for directions and felt they were not really needed at all, but regardless of your skill level they had you covered. Installed these and then drove 1200 miles with a fully loaded Thule cargo box(100lbs). No issue at all. I’ve also had two bikes on these ripping down the highway, again no issues.     • Disregard the directions and part markings but looks good !
Directions are pretty bad, also park marking is suspicious. But with a little ingenuity and faith these things look pretty good. Not to say that every gap I saw I was terrified, it all seated down pretty good. The only thing I wish is that the bracket would slide further on to the bar, as I imagine that would help shear strength. But all in all, can’t complain. ... show more

Extremely easy to install took a lot of weight from TN into Canada with constant rain and freezing rain and held up well. They do sit considerably higher than other bars but worked well.
