The media could not be loaded. The 16-piece kit includes everything I needed to secure my doors and keep my home safe. The installation process was straightforward and didn't require any complicated wiring since it's a wireless system. I particularly like the fact that it works with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, giving me more flexibility in connecting the devices to my home network. The media could not be loaded. I was really pleasantly surprised at the build quality and overall ease and simplicity of the setup process. Installation was also fairly simple and straightforward, although I ran into an issue installing sensors on two steel clad doors. After some troubleshooting, it appeared that the steel door skin was interfering with the magnetic component of the door switch. I was able to overcome this by making a simple shim out of a piece of scrap wood flooring, attaching that to the door itself and then attaching the smaller component of the switch assembly to the shim. Please see the attached photos and video for additional detail. The app is surprisingly simple and once youโ€™ve become accustomed to it, itโ€™s easy to use and has a lot of functionality. I donโ€™t intended to purchase the monitoring service so Iโ€™m satisfied with how this performs as a stand alone system . The only negative comment Iโ€™ll make is that the included USB power and the external siren power cords are both entirely too short which really limits where you can install the main hub. I chose the only elevated electrical receptacle I have on my first floor and it worked perfectly. I originally attempted to locate the hub elsewhere, but the power cord was so short the hub, if wall mounted would have been below wall switch height. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Super easy to install. The app is very easy to use and setup. Adding accessories is a breeze. Worked great for 8 months, now the built in speaker no longer works on the main unit. Added a video to show this in action. Hitting SOS should engage the siren, and arming disarming should prompt the voice assistant audio. Tried resetting it, power cycling it, but the issue persisted. Tapping the main unit causes it to temporarily regain audio output, so this leads me to believe it's hardware related. It still works, just no audible alarm is heard, and no voice prompts are given. Now that I've owned this for a few weeks, I can say that I'm happy with my purchase. The one thing I wish this kit had was more sensors but I'm being told more will be made available soon. As others have pointed out, this system will not alert authorities. What it will do is alert your phone as long as the hub is connected to the internet as well as hopefully scare off any potential intruder. It is the 2nd best thing next to having an actual monitored security system. At a minimum, it gives me a bit more peace of mind. I will have to wait to see how long the batteries on the sensors last but replacement seems easy enough. For the price though, I currently do not have anything bad to say. I will have to wait to see how this holds up overtime but so far so good with no complaints! ... show more

    • Loved at first, suddenly nothing

So, I struggled getting this set up the first time, however we ended up getting it to work after a few hours trying, and I loved how it logged what door opened, what window, etc.that is until it suddenly wasn't connected to my internet anymore, and since I have tried soooo many times to get it back connected spent hours each time trying to get it to work with no luck. I've checked my internet, made sure ot was on 2.4, checked that it wS able to work with a different device, tried again, checked password, made Sure it was working correctly and still no avail. Really sucks because that's ALl I had to be able to feel safe. Because I invested with this. ... show more
