All I can say is that I’m disappointed that I was so hesitant. Holy cow, this thing is tremendous! Literally the toughest, sturdiest, most solid cooler I could ever think up. But even better, it keeps ice for DAYS! After only a half of a bag of ice and several beverages, bouncing through the off-road trails in WV in the beating sun, riding a couple hundred miles on the back of a truck…..a week later I STILL HAVE ICE!!     • Keeps The Ice.

Closes tightly, keeps ice for days (ice blocks last even longer than ice pieces), thick walls of insulation, yet it is heavier than the average cooler (because it's a superior, strongly made cooler). A bit on the pricey side, but worth it.

I was initially skeptical about this being worth the hefty price but it is built like a tank and insulated WAY better than any other cooler I’ve had over the decades. It works really well. The only downside is that it is heavy but that is what makes it so sturdy.
