    • Great for when you want a cold drink in the middle of the night

This thing is useful to me for one reason--it keeps cold drinks cold for more than an entire night. I'm sick of running into things in the dark heading to the fridge for a cold drink at 4am. I can fill it at 10pm and it's still basically just as cold as the original refrigerator temp until 6am. It's even still cold (not refrigerator cold) at 10am, 12 hours after filling. Keep in mind that I'm not at the beach in 100 degree weather but I also wouldn't be out there for 12 hours. It's an expensive investment but it works. If you read any other review where it is said that it doesn't, they're doing something wrong. As for keeping hot things hot, I do not really drink hot beverages but all I read is the same. The best reviews are people complaining that it takes too long to cool their drink down in the fridge (presuming they're pouring in room temp tap water into the Yeti). Well, think about it--that's actually explaining exactly what this product does...it keeps the internal beverage to its original temp for a long time!! Buy a $2 pitcher and use that to cool the drink down and transfer. Also, if you want the best, you pay for the best--don't try and save 10 bucks on a knock off... ... show more

I love the lid and how you can drink out of it as if it was a plastic water bottle, most bottles like this don’t have that so it’s great. I haven’t tried heat yet but it should work because the coldness is outstanding, I can have ice in it for 48 hrs. The color is great, easy to scratch but that’s normal. Portability great. I don’t know if it’s just my sink but the cup smells awful sometimes. ... show more

I having such a problem getting the spout open it will not twist off. I run it under hot water. I soak in hot water. And I still can’t get it off. I bang on the countertop thinking it will loosen it but no. Is there a method to this madness? please let me know. I really like the yeti Container.

I’ve impulsively bought water bottles from walmart consistently over the past 5-6 years, but they’ve usually gotten passed off to other people or just sat in the miscellaneous cupboard collecting dust. So I finally decided to invest in a good one that will last me forever. So I bought this one! Completely spill-proof and amazingly insulated, I absolutely ADORE this water bottle! Plus there’s no condensation on the outside which means any stickers I may or may not place on the outside will last a good long while without getting soggy. The handle on the lid makes for easy carrying and swinging in case a creep comes up on you and you’ve forgotten your pepper-spray at home. Aside from this being a great bottle I added a Sokool insulated nylon sleave. Fits perfectly, adds insulation and on a warm day my ice is intact the following day. The Sokiiol has a nylon shoulder string and is minimal in cost. This applies to the 26oz Yetti.

Cold drinks stay cold, and the seal from the lid is great there's no spillage in drops or shaking it to mix up whatever you put in. The bottle is compact, and great for travel. Handle on the cap is sturdy as well
