A YETI is a YETI. It keeps my yogurts, protein drinks, fruit, salads etc.. just as cold as when i took it from the fridge. I haven’t used it with hot foods yet. Sturdy and easy to clean. Strong magnetic closure and fits a lot. The hook to loop closure may be difficult for those w arthritis.

We always thought the hype and high price for YETI coolers was just brand name nonsense but when the purple one went on sale, we decided to try it. Glad we did as the YETI coolers really do keep items colder longer...surprise, surprise! We use the thin hard blue ice packs in it to give us more room for our food. We sometimes take 12+ hour car trips and are so pleased when we open up the purple YETI and get our (still) cold food for our car picnic. We used it during hot (89 degree) Florida weather and were ever so pleased to find that our food was still cold even under those conditions. Worth the price. ... show more
