It is made with high quality, thick rope and woven together. It comes packaged very nice and this would be a thoughtful gift if you do not use it for yourself. The rope used to make this basket seems very high-quality at this basket seems very sturdy. I just love this basket. The braided weave is very well done and as I show in the above picture, the stitching is even and clean. I also included a photo with a standard 18 inch square throw pillow in the basket to provide a size reference. The basket itself is thick and sturdy, with two side handles for carrying. I don't think these baskets ever feels like they are true to size. I used a tape measure to gauge the size before ordering, but it feels much smaller in person. I will still be using it for my intended purpose, but it just wont hold as much as I thought, so I may have to get an additional basket of some type. I read the measurements and still was a bit surprised that it was as small as it was when it came in. That's on me. Overall, it's exactly like all the rope baskets out there and does the job...once you get it into shape. Which may take a while or some concentrated effort.
