My son loves this toy box. Delta Furniture makes a great product and makes them easy to put together. It took me about 15 minutes to get it together. The graphics are crisp and vibrant colors. Certainly a great addition to his other colorful furniture in his room. I think I will be cutting some foam floor times to fit the bottom as its really loud when he puts his toys in it. He also likes to climb up and sit on the lid. He is still a toddler but I wouldn't expect it to hold a lot of weight so as its not a bench. Let's start with materials, this is a pressboard material with a laminate design on it. If you are looking for real wood.. keep looking. How easy was it to put together? It was fairly easy to figure out and took about 15 minutes to put together from start to finish. I'm not the handiest of people but I figured it out fairly quickly. Durability: unless your kids are monsters... I can see this lasting a good while. Mine climb, sit and stand on ours and we haven't had any issues. Overall impression: for the price and for what it is, we love it. It replaced the pop-up toy box that is made of cardboard and fabric. It's sturdy (as I said my kids climb on it and they are 4 and 2 years old) the lid doesn't slam closed so we don't have to worry about pinched fingers and my 2 year old figured out how to open and close it fairly quickly so he could get to his toys. My only complaint is that they don't have a simpler graphic design.. such as a single color.. or leaves, or a princess design that is just pink and white. All the designs are disney characters which limits the age range for use. ... show more

The hinge for the anti slam wasn’t easy to put on. The screws had to be exact in order to screw them in all the way. The instructions were unclear about how to put the hinge on. Pretty sure I put it on wrong because it can still slam. Luckily it’s so full, it won’t slam anyways but it’s sturdy enough to hold most of his toys and not break. Plus it’s super cute. If the instructions were more clear, I’d rate it 5 stars but because it was so unclear, I rated it a 4. ... show more

Absolutely love the DC brand, it’s sturdy, durable, and easy to assemble. Took me 45 mins past the hour to assemble, our son couldn’t wait to put his toys in the toy chest. He has the bed as well. We love this brand.

Pretty neat little storage chest. My only dislike is I wish it were a bit bigger for $55. But I will say it was very easy to assemble and the graphics look great! It seems very sturdy and the kiddo already loves it. I do like how it also serves as a bench. I would definitely recommend.
