I was thankful that this model of phone was available. However, ended up needing a different model of Yealink as we determined that the offices that needed to use the Cordless feature of this phone were too far from where the phone base would be located

Had some difficulty installing but the difficulty has nothing to do with the producy but more on the side of the transfer of our line from the original handset to this. It works perfect after the installation.

works very good. clear voice. not too loud, wish it was a little louder. great area coverage with the w70b base. Yealink as a company has about no support, and seem to make even creating a ticket, extremely challenging. you cannot just send them what the problem is, they demand things that aren't humanly normal, such as " an attachment"? if you have nothing at attach, you cannot submit the ticket. but the phone it self, is built well, not heavy but good. hope they update the firmware soon as it can use many improvements. July 10: hand set can store 100 contacts only. That makes the 1000 number storage on the base worthless. Add: they don’t even make a compatible handset that can store more than 100. That’s misleading marketing, considering that cordless is for portability and it’s essential to have access to as many contacts as possible BY name search on the handset when needed. Went through advanced customer support. They were not able to provision the phone and asked where I got it. This phone doesnt work with Ooma, youll need to buy the one on their site.

Installed using VOIP.ms. After voip.ms pointing out my mistake on setup, it has worked flawlessly. DECT is on 1.9GHz instead of 2.4, like a lot of them. No wifi interference and great range.
