You can adjust the volume or mute the ringtone and use the silent flashes exclusively, giving you silent call notifications from a distance. When you are away and miss a call, the Kuando Busylight Omega UC lets you know with flashes every 4 seconds to indicate a missed call or IM. I had another one from a different manufacturer. But I purchased this one to help my family to see if there is a meeting in my google calendar. Works on Mac and windows. Cons: you will have to install a few separate applications (at least on mac) to cover your needs. The application which gives you manual control cannot override other apps for long. ... show more

    • Needs better standalone software. Beware of Admin requirements on Corp equipment
Except for Hub, the rest will likely require Administrator level approval as the application is asking to access the server ports directly - not talk to your local software install. So I cannot integrate this with Microsoft Teams on my office computer. Standalone Hub works...but would be better product as a running icon that can easily be clicked to change status, not a popup window you have to raise and lower to change color manually. I will recommend this product to others when they make it more work case usable. ... show more

    • Much smaller than the product photos. . .
This product may be great. We had to download the proprietary software needed for the headset and the base. This caused a problem because our corporate IT department doesn't allow regular staff to download random software off the internet. So we had to get an administrator to download it for us, which they did, only maybe they chose the wrong version of software from the manufacturer's website, because it's still not working. The user can manually change their status colors, but it still doesn't automatically change colors based on their Teams availability. The other issue is that the unit looks bigger in the product photos than it really is. In reality, it's about the size of a Dixie cup. The light is bright, so at least it's got that going for it. But I had to convince my boss to let us give it a try because she was so incesed with how small it was compared to the product photos. ... show more

    • Good hardware sucky software.
The product is awesome. The software that supports it sucks. It took me a long time to get it working correctly. For any level of customization you have to download their hub software in addition to their software specific to the products the light is linking to. Once you have the hub running it gives little to no feedback if it is talking with the busy light. You can see the different colors assigned to your states, but you cannot change them. You can see the names of the ring tones and a volume controller, but you cannot listen to them. And every time I restart my computer it tries to setup outlook. Again, the hardware is great.     • Received a used one
I can't really review the product as it never worked with my PC. Office IT group wouldn't let me install the software. But it's obvious that someone here bought one they didn't like. The one I received was used. Whomever owned it used the double-sided tape to adhere it, but when they tore it off they didn't bother to clean it up nor did they bother to put the light back into the bubble wrap which they did still put back into the box. Odd. So disregard my review if you're looking for a functional review. But beware, there's at least one used one floating around out there as I returned it since I couldn't use it. ... show more
