Quality, perfect thickness for a waterfall pond.

    • easily got a hole in it.
My project needed extra liner for a pond-less waterfall. I bought a rubber liner on Amazon last year and its super durable. I bought this extra liner to use in the water basin. I meticulously made sure there was no debris in the excavated area. I used (2) layers of geotextile heavy Woven fabric on soft clay ground. I back filled using screened topsoil completing the water basin. I filled with water. I noticed about 12hours my water level dropped about 1/2". I monitored and within 48hrs my water was half roughly 45 gallons is gone. Definitely not evaporation! What really nags at me is without the liner, during the project we had lots of rain. Water held in the hole for a week without the liner which appeared to not drop (clay ground)... Go figure! Anyhow, I had to trim this liner to accommodate brick landscaping of overlap. So unfortunately, I can't return it. Lesson learned! Just pay more for the better quality. I now have 2 days more work to remove and reinstall a new liner. What a bummer!!! ... show more
