These wedges from Yamato are really great. They are micro machines milled on the face and you can really feel it. Gives the ball tons of backspin. I struggled with chipping and pitching and these really help. They're not magic so you still have to practice but it's nice having confidence in your clubs at a fraction of the cost of the big brands. ... show more

For my birthday I treated myself to the 52, 56, 60 wedge set. I wanted the full face groves and these fit the bill. Plus they are also pretty good looking. I first played them at a little par 3 course by my main course’s range and scored my first hole in one. It was a 30 yard tiny hole but hey it was fun. The wedges are slightly heavier than my graphite shafted irons but I think that helps my wedge game. I played them on 18 the next day and they performed very well. Had a nice up and down with them out of a trap and a couple nice chips from around the green. Very happy with this purchase and I would recommend. ... show more

I’m not a big reviewer of items, but I have to rave about these wedges. Played my first round with them yesterday, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. Very responsive and forgiving on mishits. For anyone wondering if these are up to par with higher end irons like Cleveland/Taylormade/Vokey, they are. They look sharp and play nice. They're just as "soft" as any wedge I've played. The grips and overall presentation of the club are superb. However, there is NO chance these wedges are conforming for USGA tournaments. If you play money games often, you might have some people say something as well. U-grooves and an extra milled face cause WAY too much spin on pitch/chip shots. I play off a 4-7 handicap and like to play different wedge shots. Even placing the ball back in the stance for a little roll out hardly works. These wedges will stop the ball out of wet, deep rough all day long. You pretty much have to throw every shot at the hole, even on fast greens. It's a bit annoying for me, as I'm used to not doing this... but for most amateurs they will be just FINE. ... show more

Got these on a whim. I was in need of some wedges and saw these on here with decent reviews. Im no pro, so i dont need to drop 400 bucks on a few wedges. They are definitely worth the money. They handle nicely, the grips feel good, and they get a good grip on the ball for that little extra backspin on those flop shots (you can see the face cuts in the one picture). I bought the 58* and have been using it for a month I loved it so much I had to add the 54*. these are great wedges for the price very nice around the greens and the sand shots are no problem. having this wedge in the bag has definitely built my confidence in my short game. Don't hesitate to try these out you will not be disappointed. Also the black finish seams to be holding up pretty well compared to other black clubs I've had. ... show more
