It is a nice short hose. Attached to spigot in greenhouse so I could direct the water into the hydroponic reservoir buckets. Long enough to reach without being bulky.

I bought this to replace the lead in hose on a stationary hose reel. I did it for two reasons. One, the lead in hose needed replacing. Two, so does the rest of the hose on the reel (a couple hundred feet worth). Buying this short section gave me an opportunity to decide if I wanted to order more of this stuff to replace the rest of the hose with. So, here's what I think. The hose ends are heavy duty brass and well crimped. The little bits of plastic sleeve on each end are just branding and don't provide any other useful purpose. This isn't a criticism, just an observation. I cut them off. As others have mentioned, the female fitting is crimped a little tight. This makes it somewhat difficult to tighten it without twisting the hose. I put a little white lithium grease on mine and held the thing in my hand - twisting it back and forth until it lubed up and loosened up. No harm, no foul, I'd rather it was a little tight than loose. I have about 80 lbs of water pressure at my hose bibb. Once I'd connected the hose and turned on the water, there were no leaks and the hose didn't twist crazily or bulge, not even at the crimps. This is not heavy duty commercial hose, it's lighter then the heavy duty residential hose I'm replacing. I like the crazy color. So I went ahead and ordered one 100ft and two 50ft sections.     • A Sturdy Garden Hose That Just Needs a Bit More Length

I was seeking a durable garden hose that could rough use but still flex easily, so I took a chance on this 10ft heavy duty hose. Overall I'm pleased with the build quality and flexibility, but it just turned out to be a little too short for my needs. Despite the rugged construction, the hose is incredibly flexible and easy to maneuver. The swivel end fittings and material allow me to move it around plants with no trouble. My only real complaint is the 10ft length. I have a large garden and need to frequently move farther than 10ft to reach all areas. A few more feet of hose would have provided the length I needed. If you have a smaller space or need just a short lead, the durability and flexibility of this YAMATIC hose may be perfect for you. I'd happily recommend it if the length meets your needs. For my large garden, I'll be seeking their longer 25ft option next time. But the quality is good ... show more
